Absolute heaven. Everything perfect: One-level apartment, rooftop terrace, QUIET location above the best gelateria one flight downstairs. Everything is top quality and super clean—kitchen appliances including Nespresso machine with supply of capsules, large refrigerator, kitchenware and linens. The kitchen is very well equipped with very thoughtful and generous welcome provisions: Coffee, tea, milk, breakfast treats, water, etc. Upgraded bathroom with large shower and easy-to-regulate shower temperature control and great water pressure. Convenient washing machine is easy to use. Abundant paper and cleaning supplies. Windows and doors of high quality and soundproofed. Shutters on all windows for privacy and fresh air. Bedroom has plenty of storage, lots of hangers, a full length mirror and VERY comfortable bed, all to make our 12-day stay more pleasant. The layout of the apartment is perfect. We LOVED the HUGE rooftop terrace on the same level where we spent most afternoons reading and enjoying an incredible uninterrupted 200-degree lake view. A very large motorized shade awning made the rooftop terrace useful any time of day. The Tuesday morning market and weekend craft fair in the adjacent Piazza and along the lakefront were surprisingly large for a small village. Many EXCELLENT restaurants steps away. FWIW, we are frequent travelers to Europe for over 40 years, the last 10 years to Italy. This was our best ever rental experience. (Retired Delta Air Lines pilot.)

Loving This Spot On Lenno
Perfect location, in our opinion. It is more peaceful and less crowded than other villages. The lanai/patio is spacious and has a gorgeous view. It is located in Lenno’s main square where beautiful church bells ring (starting at 7:30am). Didn’t bother us one but. We were out on the lanai enjoying our tea and coffee by then. Ferry dock is a quick 3 min walk away, so you can get to other villages quickly and easily. Claudia was an amazing host-extremely responsive and attentive. Thank you, Claudia!

Gem on the Lake
My wife and I spent two nights at this wonderful apartment exploring the villages of Lake Como by day and enjoying Lenno at night. What a great experience! The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable. It was in a great location and easy to get everywhere. We will definitely consider returning.

This was our second stay in Il Golfo. This is an immaculate apt, even better than the listing. Great location in Lenno,good restaurants in walking distance also grocery shopping. Claudia is lovely and very informative,checking in via text frequently. Ferry terminal minutes away. Highly recommend!

Claudia was the perfect host. She always answered correspondence quickly and was very attentive when we were on vacation. The apartment was spotlessly clean. I think that the owner must have recently upgraded the property as many things seemed like new. The bathroom had a huge walk n shower with rainfall head, with a loo and bidet. There was a washing machine with cleaner provided. The kitchen also looked newly renovated. A very efficient fridge freezer, hob and microwave and a coffee maker with pods provided. The bed was comfortable and the sheets smelled lovely and clean. The lounge was very large and the aircon in the lounge and bedroom were very efficient during a very warm spell. The terrace is massive and a wonderful place to sit during the day or evening. The ferry terminal is only 5 minutes easy stroll along the lake side. There are 6 restaurants within a 5 minute walk 4 of them are on the lake side. If you want a sleep in, beware the church bells start at 7:30 and ring every half hour. We also had a workman with a leaf blower at 8:00 one morning. Bring ear plugs if this is a problem for you so you can enjoy this amazing apartment to its full.

This place was so much better than I expected, location is amazing , the views from the property are the best. I highly recommend and will definitely come back. Claudia is wonderful very easy to reach and extremely attentive.
