About this property

Well Appointed Apartment with Breathtaking Views

This is a rare jewel on Old Mission Peninsula. The rental is waiting for friends or family who enjoy sunsets on West Bay, quiet company of the wind through the trees and a short hop into Traverse City. While the view is wonderful, we do not have water access, although we do have beaches close by. It is a unique property that boasts of a fully furnished master suite with a walk in closet, second bedroom, and two full baths. It has a 3 season room to watch the waves come on the beach below, and a gas fireplace. It has a two car attached garage and a w/d in the laundry room. Great walking area up to Hawthorne Winery. In appreciation of your stay, we are not charging a cleaning fee.

Lovely Summer Retreat

We SO enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. So peaceful and relaxing with beautiful views of the lake and of surrounding nature. This was a great place overall. Excellent location. I have only one suggestion; if one tree was removed, the one with 2 bases that looks like a V, then we could see the bay and across. It would fall in the realm of perfect if that trr was gone.

Relaxing fall getaway

My husband and I stayed for three nights in early November. The property was clean and very well furnished, the host was sweet and responsive, and the location was perfect. We relaxed and enjoyed the view and took advantage of the quick trip to great wineries, downtown Traverse City, and beautiful hiking. It was our first time to the area but we are definitely planning to return and hope to stay at this wonderful property again!

Great spot on the peninsula.

This is a wonderful apartment. It's a duplex, but you have total privacy. Very clean and well stocked apartment. Might require driving or ride service to get downtown, but great access to wineries on the peninsula for tours and such. Definitely recommend.

We had a great stay on a beautiful property. Our host was there but invisible. Check in and check out were seamless. We didn’t eat there during our stay but all the staples were there if we needed. Golf, wine and laughter

We loved Mimi and Gary's place.The location is wonderful got to see the bay everyday, listening to waves and the sounds of Traverse Bay. Close to all we wanted to enjoy. Met Mimi, Gary and their Ziggy... great dog. Visited a couple of wineries enjoyed the views at all of them. Ate awesome whitefish dip at Fishtown with drinks of course. Enjoyed local beach in this hot weather. Jolly Pumpkin was great food. In the evenings we enjoyed the condo/apartment playing cards and listening to music. Truley and great place and outstanding host. Thanks Mimi we will see you again there is no doubt.
