Streamside is perfectly located between Traverse City and the natural beauty of Leelanau County. However you spend your days up north, you'll love coming home to unwind in the hot tub and cedar sauna. Peacefully tucked in the woods beside a stream, and thoughtfully designed with comfort and simplicity in mind, Streamside offers fast Wi-Fi and year-round charm for couples, families, or small groups seeking rest, connection, and nature.

The Space

Streamside is a modern, newly-renovated, light-filled home designed for comfort and calm. The living room and eating area feature large windows that look out onto the surrounding forest, letting nature in while maintaining a sense of privacy and coziness. Whether you’re gathered around the outdoor fire pit or sipping coffee on the deck, the atmosphere is peaceful, warm, and inviting.

Bedrooms & Layout

The home comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests across three bedrooms. The primary bedroom downstairs features a king bed. One bedroom upstairs features another king bed with a work area. The third bedroom has a queen bed and a comfortable reading nook.
All bedrooms feature high-quality linens with spare sets, a full closet, thoughtful lighting and a ceiling fan.
There is a full bath on each floor with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

Kitchen & Dining

The fully equipped kitchen includes brand new appliances, essential cooking tools, pans, baking sheets, etc. as well as basic spices and cooking oils. The dining area comfortably seats six, and you can also enjoy food and a drink out on the deck. There is also a propane grill outside next to the game area.

Amenities

Streamside’s signature feature is its private outdoor spa setup. Unwind in the cedar sauna and hot tub, both positioned to overlook the stream and forest, creating a relaxing experience in every season. We are also happy to provide a gorgeous fire pit with complimentary firewood, as well as an outdoor game area with cornhole, horseshoes, and axe throwing!

Technology & Work Setup

Fast, reliable Wi-Fi makes remote work or streaming a breeze. The living area includes a smart TV, and USB outlets are located in each bedroom for easy device charging. The upstairs king bedroom has a dedicated desk, but otherwise the dining table and lounge areas work well for laptop use.

Guest access
Guests can access the home and garage using our smart lock system, where they get personalized codes to enter the home before their stay.

Guests have full access to everywhere in the property, except for two closets. One, the cleaner's closet, is located in the laundry room opposite the washer and dryer, and the second is in the hallway next to the smart thermostat. That is the owner's closet, which has our personal belongings we use when we come to enjoy the home. If there's ever a reason you would need to get into those closets, we can get you access to them.

Streamside House Rules
To keep things smooth, cozy, and enjoyable for everyone, we ask that you follow a few simple house rules during your stay. In a nutshell, be kind to the space, respect the neighbors, and treat the home like it’s your own. We’ll take great care of you, and we appreciate you doing the same for Streamside.

General Vibe
-Quiet hours: 10 PM – 7 AM.
-We’re tucked into a peaceful setting, so please keep outdoor voices, music, and general noise to a minimum after dark.
-Smoking is allowed outdoors only. Please be respectful of open windows and properly dispose of butts.

Guests & Occupancy
-Max occupancy is 6 people.
-No overnight guests beyond your confirmed booking party, please.

Pets
-While we don’t allow pets by default, we do make occasional exceptions for well-trained dogs.
-Pet fee is $250 per dog. This helps cover the extra cleaning and potential wear.
-Please check with us before booking if you’d like to bring your pup!
