One of my all time for a vacation spot. The cabin provided lots of space for everyone both inside and outside. The beds and furniture were plentiful and very - very comfy. We had fun in the game room; fun around the fire pit and no one buried their heads in their cell phones and I-pads (that was a huge success). We all engaged one another when together. One of our best vacations ever. Will be back.
We had a group of 11 women and enjoyed this property very much. The property is very clean and enough space for all of us. The property manager was extremely responsive.
We go up to northern Michigan every year to go ride the motorcycle trails. Uncle Don's cabin is definitely one of the nicest places we've stayed at. Tons of room, everything you need and right down the road from the trailhead. We would definitely recommend!
The house is very nice and was well-suited to our large group. The outdoor space is great too. The porch and gazebo both have lots of good seating, as does the fire pit area.
Great setting for a larger group. Very easy access to TC. Everything a group needs from space to amenities. Katie was very responsive to questions and kept in contact throughout our stay.
Despite not doing planned activities due to lack of snow we had a great time. The cabin was very well designed for a large group and very warm and welcoming. We also enjoyed the beautiful wooded walking trails right near the house.
The house was better in person than represented in the pictures. Everything was extremely clean. There was plenty of room for our crew to spread out and enjoy the amenities. Would definitely love to go stay again.
We booked for family to stay for a wedding that was just 7 minutes away. Location, size, and the large wooded area made it a great choice for us. Space for kids to run and play. Katie was quick to reply to all questions. The location is beautiful! It was our first time to Michigan, and this accommodation made it perfect!

We had three families staying together with kids. We had plenty of room. Very clean and newly remodeled. We all loved it. Prompt communication. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
This was the perfect spot in the Traverse City area for a family gathering. Superior outdoor areas for talking, fires, eating, etc. Numerous sleeping areas with bathrooms. Workout room and chapel. Kitchen a little on the small side, but more than adequate dining space. Quiet and scenic. Highly recommend. Home was well stocked and host was readily available.
The property is beautiful and perfect for large families or groups to stay together. The cabin is fully equipped with everything you need. Katie was wonderful! Gave us a lot of great recommendations for things to do, places to eat, etc. Very prompt in responding to any questions we had. You get the best of both with this cabin. Far enough out for privacy, but not too far from town. We will hopefully be using this rental again in the future.
We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It is all it appears to be, and more! It is on over 100 acres of privately owned forest land, and is just a 12 minute drive to a gas station and not much farther for restaurants and beaches! The game room kept the children occupied for HOURS every morning, so the adults had quiet time. The kitchen seating is AWESOME. A table with 14 chairs, and another table with six more chairs! Nice, cozy couch and easy chairs in the living room. We had 15 of us and always plenty of room for everyone!! Great movie spot! The bedrooms are small, but cozy and the beds are comfortable. House is decorated in woodsy fashion - so cute!! No bugs or spiders. It was amazing, and I am longing to go back!! Thank you to Ken and owners!(word of warning: there are bears! We didn't see them until the last day. They kept their distance!)
Easy communication with owner. Very clear instructions re: check in.
The home is beautiful and is even better than described on VRBO. Plenty of room for our crew of 14-17 people (depending on the day). We had ages ranging from 2 to 78 years old.
The living room was a popular hang out location - the kitchen is centralized between dining spaces and living room, so communicating with family was super easy.
The fire pit and adjacent gazebo were popular in the evenings. We used Bluetooth speakers to play owl calls at night (from YouTube) and could hear them respond - fun for all ages to experience.
The cabin is remote but gas/groceries are easy 15-20 minute drive away at most.
Nearby Brown Bridge boat launch would be an awesome spot for a kayak/canoe trip down the Boardman River (next time we will bring kayaks). There’s an impressive trail network around the boat launch - well marked and maintained trails of varying lengths. The boat launch is a 1.25 mile walk down the quiet road from the cabin.
All NW Michigan attractions are within 45-50 minute drive of cabin - we did Sleeping Bear Dunes/Glen Arbor/Leelenau Peninsula/Old Mission Peninsula/Front Street in TC/Torch Lake/kayaking on Platte River/biking on Heritage Trail twice/TC beaches.
Washer/Dryer were great. AC worked (but didn’t really need it due to cooler evenings - yay!).
Saw several deer on property throughout the week.
Wrap around porch was nice place to sit while the teens played catch.

Great spot for a family vacation. We werent expecting the game room (which the property owner is still working on completing, so it wasnt on the listing) but it was an awesome addition. Would definitley recommend and hope to return some day.
We had a great experience. The hosts were quick to respond and the property was so nice! Plenty of space for large groups. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back
