My family loved the whole area, cabin was so beautiful. Definitely worth the money to stay for a weekend. Definitely would recommend going here. The view of the lake was stunning. Thank you so much to the owners they have done such amazing work on the cabin.
My friends and I had a great time. The whole property was in great shape, kitchen was very well stocked and the location pretty convenient so we could go shopping for groceries or visit the parks and beaches nearby.
The cabin was great for my family and centrally located for all the stops we wanted to make on our vacation (Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Fish Town, and lighthouses). We had our morning cup of coffee on the balcony and enjoyed the view. We saw loons and heard an owl during our stay. The kids loved swimming and kayaking in the lake. Would love to go back next year.
Had a group of 8 for a bachelorette weekend. The house had plenty of space in the house and outdoors for parking 5 vehicles. The location was great for going into downtown Traverse City for shopping and doing wine tours. Very peaceful!! Went kayaking every morning!
My family and I booked a two day weekend at Cedar Lake Lodge for a winter getaway, and to enjoy snow-tubing at Mt. Holiday. The cabin was so roomy, comfy and cozy that we didn’t want to leave to go anywhere! We enjoyed making breakfasts together in the kitchen, playing pool in the evenings, and enjoying the warmth of the gas wood-stove at night. This is our second time staying here and we would definitely stay again. Communication with the property owner, Lizzie, was fantastic and she is very quick to respond. I recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay in the Traverse City area!
We stayed here October 12-17 and the fall colors were absolutely beautiful. We needed some time away to disconnect from everything. This place was perfect. It is nestled in the woods on the lake. I can't express in words how beautiful it is in person. Our hostess was also quick to answer any questions we had. Do not hesitate to book this one. We drove 14 hours to stay here and wouldn't hesitate to do it again!
If your truly looking for a relaxing vacation . This cabin is simply beautiful and the surrounding landscape with the woods and the lake within view of the back deck is amazing . The host was very nice . And easy to contact . Having the pontoon boat was great . The lake is beautiful . We travel the country and stay in cabins deep in the woods and this cabin is the most beautiful we have ever stayed in . Thank you Lizzie for a very relaxing vacation ! William and Loretta Smith
My family came for a short cousins get away for March break which included time at Great Wolf Lodge. We wanted to stay somewhere we could have family time, share meals, play games and have a relaxing and spacious place to spend our downtime (we can get on each others nerves lol). This cabin was so nice and had everything we needed from the bedrooms, to multiple bathrooms, and a basement living area perfect for hanging out and playing pool (which the kids absolutely loved!). We came in the late winter/spring and would definitely come again. Sounds like this place is amazing during the summer time too!
I complained about driving 4hrs away to come to this cabin lol, but let me tell you! The moment we entered the cabin, we fell in love! This Trip was soooooo amazing! The cabin was clean and the kitchen was fully equipped. I can't say enough about my birthday vacation here. I did not want to go back home lol. And last but not least, Liz was very welcoming and communication was smooth and prompt. We will definitely rent here again. 🎉❤️
Beautiful cabin with so much to do! This was our family's favorite vacation yet! Fairly secluded but close enough to other things to do! Would absolutely recommend!
Great spot for a getaway, we enjoyed the upper parts of Michigan, the place was tucked back really private. Great place we just wasn't there much, highly recommended
The lake view was amazingly peaceful and we even saw a bald eagle flying over the lake. The pool table in the basement was a good time for our group. Also loved all the movie selections in the dvd bins even though we didnt watch any. We ran into a minor problem and the host was available for the fix and had great response time for our issue. Would 100% recommend to others and may come back with a family in the future
It is an amazing place to stay, very quiet and secluded. Was a nice place to relax and get away. Will always look for this place to stay on our traverse city trips
This place was great! It was extremely clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. The lake view is beautiful and having a fire right on the lake was so nice. I’d definitely recommend this stay. It is a great location and just a short drive to Traverse City.
