While our secluded cabin is privately owned and operated, there are two other rental units nearby under separate ownership. We kindly ask that guests be courteous of others on the neighboring property during their stay.

While 4x4 is recommended, it is not required—ample parking is available.You’ll have the place to yourself, but we live nearby and respond quickly to any needs or questions.

Great Stay!

I had a great stay in the Lincoln Cabin! The cabin is very clean, well-appointed, serene, and located near great hiking options at Stone Mountain State Park. I stayed for a couple of nights after dropping off my son at a nearby camp and am looking forward to hopefully booking it again next summer.

Very cozy!

We stayed for a couple nights and it was very quiet and cozy. Roasting marshmallows in the wood stove will definitely be a fond memory!

The cabin was the perfect location for our family of four and two dogs. Easy to find, clean and with great wifi and cell service. Communication with hosts was fantastic as well- super responsive to questions.

We had a comfy and peaceful stopover on our way back north. Hosts are quick to reply to questions and we were grateful for a good night's sleep for our journey home the next day. Love this place!

Great get away

We truly enjoyed the location and coziness of the cabin. Owners were extremely kind and helpful. I toured the glamping site with Jeff and may move to that next time. There was good information posted inside the cabin showing us things to do and places to go.

Great Getaway

We stayed in the Daniel Boone Cabin and it was a serene, beautiful, peaceful weekend. The cabin was very clean and Jeff Porter was so very helpful with our questions. I wish we could have stayed longer but we will be back soon to stay at one of the cabins or maybe try the glamping site!

Perfect mountain vacation

We loved this charming cabin! It is exactly as advertised and with lots of extra touches that made us feel so welcome. The back porch was a great place to relax after hiking in Stone Mountain State Park all day, with a lovely view of the pond and woods. Absolute perfection.

Stone Mountain Log Cabin

We had a great stay. We took advantage of the full kitchen and grill and cooked nearly all our meals. The cabin had several board games to choose from which was nice since it rained most of our stay. The cabin was very close to Stone Mountain which had hikes anywhere from an hour to a full day of exploring.

Perfect mountain weekend getaway!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this adorable, cozy cabin! The hosts were very quick with communication and the check-in/out process was super easy. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed for a great weekend and was super tidy and clean. We had a great time sitting by the fire, hiking in Stone Mountain state park just 10 minutes away, and had a delicious meal in downtown Elkin (recommended by the hosts)! We would definitely recommend this property for a mountain getaway with friends or family.

Mountain Cabin

We spent 3 nights at this very comfortable mountain cabin. Just a few minutes from the entrance to Stone Mountain State Park and a country store with excellent ice cream. We spent most of our time hiking and there is no better location in the area with the ease of access to the SP. Would highly recommend! Thank you to the owners for great communication, a perfect cabin in a great location.

Comfortable cabin in beautiful surroundings

Very comfy and warm. The hosts genuinely encourage you to relax and enjoy the place. We felt right at home. Lots of sweet touches, like a bin for the dogs with some toys and treats. Appreciated the cart to haul bags to the house. Unique property! Loved every minute there.

Cabin

Convenient location to state park and small store with ice cream and snacks. Host was very helpful and responsive to my few area questions. Cabin is exactly as described. We arrived late at night, and as the A/C is in the main room, the bedrooms were warm the first night of our stay because there wasn't sufficient time for them to cool down. A small fan in each bedroom would be most welcome (we looked but did not find one). Would recommend staying here.
