"This hotel is very much a boutique hotel. No elevator or air conditioning but still a very nice and clean room. The decor is shabby chic and bedding is comfortable. The included breakfast is not as much as we have had at other hotels during this trip but a quick yogurt and coffee and croissant does the trick. The staff was very friendly and even took our bags up to our room for us. FYI the parking is not real sat either which was nice."

"This is an older but very nice classic Swiss mountain hotel with great mountain views. In October pretty much everything was closed, no restaurants and you’re up on a winding road so it’s not so easy to drive to Interlaken even though it’s only 4 miles. The food offerings at the hotel were meager for dinner although the breakfast was very good. Room was fine with a balcony ."

Cleaners come in everyday to help wash dishes, tidy up, etc. which was nice. Cons - Dryer was not functional and had to self fix. Shower tiles were grimy and moldy."
