I was up on the 2nd floor so had to go up a lot of stairs with my heavy suitcase. The shower didn't function well. The water was either very hot or very cold.

Staff were super helpful, mailed back a charger that I left at the accommodation! Staff were super helpful by text when I had questions about check in. Only downside was that room was incredibly small and the bathroom in particular was a struggle to use with the limited space.

Room was great. Breakfast amazing. Staff mega helpful. Dog friendly. Evening meal good but limited but that fits with the style of the hotel. We would go back. Mark & Katie Hutchison

Second time staying at the Bruntsfield hotel just as amazing as before! Cannot recommend enough. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with great tv, freebies and the bathroom has an amazing shower and enough space for all you need. The surrounding area is perfect with amazing cafes, restaurants and small businesses and has easy access into the city centre on foot and by bus. The free luggage storage is also great to make the most of your stay after check out, the onsite bar is a good nice and feels warm and more like a nicer pub opposed to a hotel bar - we didn’t eat so can’t speak for the food but the menu seemed decent for a hotel.
