"This is hands down one of the prettiest and coolest properties you can stay in, in rural Portugal. The property, room and pool and service was amazing, but the town itself situated in is also just one of the coolest experiences. So many handmade items included in your stay and available to purchase. The host is amazing, super friendly and laid back. The grounds were beautiful, unique and has so much character. We stayed here for a night after taking the train into Pochino and it was one of the...

"La casa nos permitió descansar y ponernos a resguardo de la abundante lluvia de ese fin de semana, pero la casa necesita mejoras significativas de cara a la comodidad de los huéspedes. Hay que sustituir bombillas fundidas, poner wifi, papeleras en los baños, cambiar la ubicación de la televisión porque sobre la chimenea es un peligro (el mando de la TV estaba destrozado), y reponer leña para los días fríos. Las camas son confortables y la calefacción funciona bien mientras la chimenea está en...

Beautiful historic manor house that was tastefully decorated. Excellent value for money comfortable stay. Friendly staff. It's a privilege to have access to this beautiful historic home. Although it was old, it had a fresh interior & was in very good condition. Our bedroom was large, we had a very comfortable bed and lovely spacious ensuite bathroom. Additionally there was a communal kitchen and outdoor area used by guests as well as a large indoor swimming pool in the backyard. There was no...

INATEL Vila Ruiva Hotel

Fornos de Algodres

10/10 Excellent

We arrived at the small medieval village of Vila Ruiva and expected to find, hopefully, a reasonable hotel in the Inatel Hotel. Entering the gates of the hotel area we were struck by the magnificent view and the architecturally clean-cut hotel building. From then on everything was pleasingly good to excellent - the staff were all pleasing, polite and helpful, the room and all hotel facilities spotlessly clean and well maintained. The hotel is obviously used as a conference centre and has all...
