"Excellent Staff, very cool and historical building. The bed wasnt the most comfortable, but that can be subjective. The location is perfect to walk the river and enjoy the scenery. We even saw a dolphin in the river, which was really neat and unexpected. Would highly recommend staying here! Try Bootleggers, if you do!!!"

"STAY AWAY….Photos are misleading and the facility is unsecured. Looks as if people are living at the facility. Made the mistake of trying to open the wrong room and was able to open the room. When we arrived to our room it was musty and the floor was coming up due to moisture. The place was in disrepair compared to the photo listed. We spent less than 10 minutes before retuning the room cards and leaving."

"The property wasn't what I expected for a double tree. The breakfast staff was unorganized, and nobody knew what the other one was doing not a great presentation. The parking although safe and staff helpful the fee for parking was much too high. When considering a place next time, I will probably not book this hotel."

"We stayed for a few days and I was very happy with this hotel. I will be staying again. The hotel was very clean, they offered valet at a reasonable price, and the staff was very professional. They also had a small laundry room which I used and had a great experience with. The location is great as well, within walking distance to several cool locations in Savannah. "

"The room was clean and the front desk representatives were nice. However, the room was expensive and we paid more for access to a courtyard and view only for the door to be stuck and unable to open so we couldn't enjoy that. The shower in the room also clogged. We paid more for valet parking as well as and the valet staff never sent me a text or gave me a ticket. They also misplaced my key so I was very worried the whole night. They fortunately found it and we left asap the next morning. For the price, I was very disappointed. There are more professional places nearby with a lower price point."

"Their logo reads "Experience Luxury" and, yes, being treated warmly and respectfully is a luxury these days. That said, there aren't any other luxuries here. The staff and mgt are well-meaning and attentive but there's a lot lacking here. My room was a good size, with a fridge, microwave and Kuerig with lots of coffee pods (thank you!), but the TV remote was missing and no one could find another that worked. The windows have shades instead of blinds, and no curtains. One lamp was missing a bulb. One morning had breakfast available, but not the next. The soda machine was empty. Add sadly, I found a few small but unwelcome four-legged roommates that you didn't want to bring home. (I saw a pest control company van there, so they're working on this. I'll give them credit where it's due.) With a little more focus on the details (cleaner carpets, paint touch-ups, light bulbs, remotes, etc.) Iris Garden could cultivate a loyal following and far better reviews. I hope they succeed at this, since the staff here is wonderful and deserves recognition."

"We booked this hotel specifically for the hot tub. We were very disappointed to learn the hotbtub was not functional upon our arrival. There was also blue painters tape holding together a piece of the balcony. The air conditioning in the room, although it worked great, was incredibly loud. The side of the hotel overlooking "landmarks" was very noisy with many trucks traveling on W Bay Street. The use of the room key to operate the elevator was a bit of an annoyance as well. The little interaction we had with staff was great and over all the room was clean aside from the complementary bobby pin left in the shower."
