good deal

quiet location just outside of town so able to see amazing stars and enjoy tranquility. room was comfortable and redone recently. owner and family aim to serve well and ae very accommodating . breakfast was good.

Great views of the river

We stayed on the top floor and our room was super cozy. The decor was like your bedroom at home and not a commercial hotel. There was cozy lighting that created a mood. I spoke to the owner who said they are working on another upgrade for rooms. The breakfast was really good with lots of options. No elevator but if you can do steps, the view of the river is lovely. Parking is available as well. You could walk into Traben-Trarbach about 1km and it was 20 minutes drive to Bernkastel-Kues.

A wonderful welcome at the hotel by the manager - very accommodating and upgraded our room as it was a birthday! Beautifully furnished rooms - large size with lovely balcony overlooking Mosel -- perfect! Would definitely stay again! Great value for money Even better if the pool was open!

A hidden retreat at Traben-Trarbach

Very kind staff trying to help us in every matter. The room was very nice as well. We enjoyed the magnificent view of mosel with vineyards. Breakfast was also very nice!

Het hotel en kamers waren zeer schoon. Douche was lekker. Kamer groot. Bedden uitstekend. Ontbijt zoals je verwacht in Duitsland, prima. Het hotel was gedateerd. Daar moet je doorheen kijken.

Het is een verouderd hotel, wel goede bedden. Ontbijt bevatte alles wat je nodig had, enkel -15 min geen elektriciteit gehad waardoor je ook geen warme dranken kon nemen.

Das Hotel ist in allen Bereichen Total heruntergekommen. Im Bad musste man für Lauwarmes Wasser 10min das Wasser laufen lassen und die Heizung hat nicht funktioniert. Ich kann dieses Hotel keinem empfehlen.

Kalte Zimmer

Freundlicher Empfang, schneller Check-In. Unser Zimmer war renoviert und freundlich eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut sortiert. Das waren die guten Nachrichten! Im Bad funktionierte der Lichtschalter nicht. Dafür war eine Nachttischlampe in die Steckdose gesteckt, deren Schirm kaputt war?? Nachts um 24 Uhr war die Heizung aus und ging erst frühmorgens wieder an (draußen Frost). Es war eiskalt im Zimmer. Morgens hatte sich die Luftfeuchtigkeit an den einfach verglasten Fensterscheiben niedergeschlagen. Hier sollten dringend doppelt verglaste Fenster eingebaut werden, es wir ja sprichwörtlich zum Fenster raus geheizt. Im Frühstücksraum war es ebenfalls sehr kalt.

Hatten zwei Zimmer gebucht. War aber angeblich nur noch eins verfügbar. War unser Glück, da wir so wo anders untergekommen sind. Rein äußerlich schon sehr gruselig und im Eingangsbereich roch es schon sehr muffig und war schmutzig. Die Zimmer wollten wir erst garnicht sehen.
