9.4/10 Exceptional! (164 reviews)
Kabin Taka is in a good location and is close to public transport, excellent shopping and the Nishiki Markets. The staff are really helpful and the rooms well equipped and comfortable. The addition of a gym was great, although it is quite small. We had two rooms and had no issues at all during our stay.

Awesome staff with great communication. Quiet area in Kyoto and about 11 min walk to the station. Kitchen and washer/dryer were convenient and easy to use. Shower was also great with good water pressure.

The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. We loved the rooftop restaurant and bar. The coffee shop and bakery were wonderful in the morning. Staff were terrific and helped us book a car and driver for a day sightseeing.

"I like the free public bath on 12/F a lot. First of all it is open throughout the night, for a night owl who like to walk around the city until late, I can go enjoy the public bath at 1am or 4am is great. I can check whether the public bath is crowded or not on the tv in my room so convenient ! Laundry ..."
