"We had a wonderful stay! The location is private with trees and bushes in between the neighbors so you don't see them. The dock easily fit two fishing boats. There were more than enough trash bins to hold all of our trash, which is a big plus because some places don't have enough. The main house was a little bit to get to the water to (my parents are 79 and 82) but there is a small cabin that is right on the water. That had a bathroom and a refrigerator that could be used so you could hang out at the fire and the beach without having to go up to the big house. The only downfall for us personally was that there was no cell service only Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi was only available at the larger cabin and not at the beach. It was great to be away from electronics, but we like to check the weather to know what's going to happen and the signal would be nice. However, we were well aware that there was no Wi-Fi down at the little cabin at as that is clearly in the instructions. The place was very clean and having supplies such as trash bags and dish detergent and towels made packing lighter! It was very appreciated!We are very happy we booked and hope to stay again in the future! "

"We loved our stay and would definitely come again, however, the one evening we wanted to use the TV it wasn't working. We also had no Internet, temporarily, the same day. Also a mention of the access to the docks and being steep would be a good idea for those who may not be able to navigate due to health issues/disability. When we arrived we were welcomed by Roy and Otto. We brought our puppers and realized we had forgotten her tie out and Roy brought us one which was great! Great hospitality and well l kept cabin!"

"A lovely lake home with a sauna to boot! Getting hot in the sauna and then jumping into the lake is so refreshing! Also spent time reading on the dock and on the big deck, overlooking the lake. If the weather is not great, there are plenty of great options nearby, including state parks and Ely is only 40 minutes away. Lastly, we really appreciated the water pressure in the shower "

"Unbelievable property, had a great time and our family was cozy and comfortable the whole week. This location is a fisherman's paradise with the added bonus of having a great home to come back to each day to relax, cook, and stay in comfort. We will be coming back to this spot. "
