Super friendly staff, very clean all day long in the room and outside patio. Nice partner hotel a few meters away for coffee or breakfast. Very nice private boat excursions. Tasty food. Thumbs up!

Great time!

We had a really great time at the Serendipity hotel, the host was really helpful, the food was great , we had some issues with the payment but they fixed it right away, I highly recommend !

Very nice place with great location within Tortuguero. Staff was very kind and helpful; arranged all the activities (seemingly with much higher quality than other operators), prepared tasty traditional breakfast every day, and made sure all our issues are solved asap. We have met a few geckos in our room during the two days, but fair to say that this is almost given in a rain forest (and when we mentioned it, they immediately came to remove them). Would recommend it!

Our room was on the 2nd floor; great room with a table, couch, fridge, kitchenette and small outside sitting area. The hot water was a little tricky, but they were going to work on that. Cooper, Angie and Sophie and the rest of the staff were GREAT. They treated us so well; we felt taken care of and special!

The staff at the Serendipity are great. Angie picked us up at the port and walked us back early in the morning on departure day, Anna served breahfasts, lunches and dinners in the courtyard, and they all helped to arrange tours. We did the kayak tour with Wesley and found it very enjoyable and informative. Also did a walkabout with Jonathan, which was lots of fun. Tortuguero was a very worthwhile place to visit, we would come back and stay at the Serendipity again.

Wonderful stay!

I cannot express enough how much I enjoyed my stay at Serendipity Hotel. From the moment I arrived at the pier I was taken care by Cooper and the team at the hotel. I had booked the all inclusive formule and I felt treated like a king for each of the meals. The ladies were wonderful with me and made me feel at home. Nothing I could ask was ever an issue. I will definitely come again as I felt I should have stayed longer. Definitely an hotel deserving to be known!

Loved the attention we received from it’s staff Sofie, Chef Nayomi, Ivana and Cooper. The room was lovely and very comfortable bed. Cooper was very helpful with the transportation. Not happy about not knowing the travel time was not included in the description. It takes 3-4 hrs from airport then 1 hour boat ride to get to the hotel. Even though it’s all inclusive they didn’t serve alcoholic beverages only wine. Would have loved some mojitos, piba colado or margaritas. Also no tv in the room.

The hotel is in a great location in the centre of Tortuguero and close to the national park. The staff were amazing, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was ok, but not as clean as it could be. There’s a small communal area where they serve your meals.

Hemos pasado dos noches en Tortuguero, y desde antes de llegar ya nos sentíamos arropados por todo el personal. Un servicio y trato muy personalizado y profesional. Te ayudan a gestionar traslados, visitas…Comunicación de 10 desde el momento en el que hicimos la reserva. Habitación amplia y cómoda. Servicio de comidas, correcto. Sin duda, recomiendo alojarse en este establecimiento.

Totalmente recomendable.

El hotel es nuevo, abrió en octubre de 2022. Está muy bien ubicado, cerca de la entrada del parque y del pueblo de Tortuguero. Muy cerca también del embarcadero principal. Todo el personal es encantador; te hacen sentir como en casa. Además te van a buscar al embarcadero y te llevan el equipaje. Y lo mismo para la salida. Hicimos la excursión del bote que nos ofrecieron y también muy bien. En definitiva, aunque no tenga vistas, todo genial. Muy recomendable.
