When we booked, the rating was 9.8/10 stars, and that is the gauge we used to measure what we expected to be a nearly perfect rental. Our stay was for four nights and five people. The initial basic supplies were not adequate (one extra kitchen trash bag, one roll paper towels, two dishwasher pods, no dish soap) upon arrival. These items were supplied upon request, but ultimately do not feel we should need to request. The biggest issue was the amount of power outages. We experienced four in the first evening of our stay. The host was quick to respond, but we felt this was another lack of preparedness on the part of the location. If you know the circuit board is a new addition and there is a family of five who has rented the space, using only the necessary power, then the limits should have been tested to ensure capacity. These two issues on the day of arrival when traveling abroad made the start of our stay very rough. We did request some accommodation with the fee we were charged for our trouble, but did not receive any compensation. We were told (I'm paraphrasing) that just because the host responded quickly, that should suffice. I don't agree with a nearly perfectly rated VRBO,This post is created in hopes that future guests will have a stay with complete supplies and power from the first day of their stay. We enjoyed our final three days once the electrician restored/increased power middle of day two.
