"Our stay was next to prefect… even the rainy weather couldn’t dampen our stay! Our room was beautiful with magnificent view of Douro…everywhere is like a storybook! We had dinner the 2 nights we stayed it was excellent. We did a wine tasting tour… tasting and learned so much! Quinta de la Rosa is only a short walk from town so we had a nice lunch in town and walk around! Prefect 2 nights!"

"This bnb is a gem in every way. The location in the historic district is perfect. You can walk everywhere. Car parking is very easy on the street. The bnb itself is stunning and comfortable. Our room was absolutely beautiful. The bathroom was like none other we have ever seen. The host was friendly and helpful, and her breakfast was remarkable! She couldn’t do enough to make sure that we had everything we needed or wanted. The property and backyard with a pool was beautiful! We highly recommend this bnb. "

Breakfast buffets are numerous, plentiful and delicious. We enjoyed our room with a balcony overlooking the river very much. "

"The hotel was very nice and the staff were excellent. It is a smaller hotel in a rural type town and you got that small town care from the staff. They provided us with a triple room so we could have a double bed and helped make our stay very comfortable. The breakfast was very good with fresh fried eggs and a good selection of breads and other items. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a clean comfortable room in a smaller setting. "
