"We stayed here one night on our way back from Bergen to Oslo. It is a big sprawling (in a nice way) hotel! Comforting, traditional ski lodge style feel but the room was modern and spacious with a balcony for me, my wife and 15yr old son. The bathroom was very snug though, but clean. There is a good sports bar on site. Burgers were nice. Bar games too. The pool, sauna and outdoor hot tub were v good. The only downside is it faces the main railway station and there were a few late night freight...

"It was off season so there was no one on site. Checkin is all digital and worked seamlessly. Had a bit of trouble finding the room and was only stairs down to the lower rooms. Rubbish bin had not been emptied from prior guest. Studio was very comfortable and had everything you could need. "

You get "all smiles A+ service, all the way" from a young crew who is on their tip of their toes to help - 24/7 (I tested just that). "The hotel is nice and the bar/restaurant area is good. However, I was charged for parking at the hotel which seemed somewhat excessive considering I was staying there. I can understand charging for parking in a busy city environment, but the hotel is not in a city and is also quite a long way from the ski slopes. Charging for parking was a bit of a shock."

However, when I booked it, I thought the breakfast is included, but there was an automatic message came in straight away ask if I need breakfast.
