Very good location, it was great to have access to a locker room before check-in and after check-out. There were some nice details like the water bottles you can borrow from the room to avoid the need of buying bottled water just to have something to fill up later. There were a few disappointments: quite a lot of dated / broken things (the front door didn't lock, the elevator didn't work one day of our stay, visibly worn details in the room) & our room had a view of an internal courtyard and a wall - somewhat understandable with the location and the building being old, but still not nice for almost 400 USD a night. Note: the question for rating staff in the review form on Expedia makes 0 sense as this place is fully automated (unless you have a special request, you will never talk to anybody).

The hotel is in an excellent location - a short walk to the train station and steps away from the Munch museum and the Opera House. The breakfast was outstanding - a fantastic spread. The only downside is that the hotel does not have air conditioning, and although you can open a door (a bit) for some air - if the the temperature outside is 29C its hard to get the room to be less than 26C

"Overall, the property is fantastic. It is about 10 minutes walk from the station, 2-3 minutes walk from the river and all the restaurants. The room was super nice, clean and descent sized. The only thing that left a bit if bitter taste in our mouths was they made us pay for the coffee in the lounge ..."
