"Lovely B&B in a beautiful village known for bookstores. Nicole and Malcolm were so kind and welcoming, we truly enjoyed our weekend there! They went above and beyond making sure we were comfortable, gave us lots of local info, and we enjoyed great conversations with them."

"Fabulous property - luxurious and well appointed, great hosts who were friendly and welcoming. The house is ideally situated in Wigtown so right by some lovely pubs, bookshops and nice areas for walking. We were a group of 6 adults and 4 young children (and a dog) and it perfectly suited our needs - plenty of space and ideal for a group get together. We can’t wait to return!"

"Lovely country pub with beautiful rooms upstairs. Really friendly staff and the view on the way to my room were the best I had all day, and I had covered 270 miles 😳"

"Lovely cottage. Totally spotless, very comfortable and well-equipped. Good outdoor seating area if you're lucky enough to have sunny weather! Easy parking. Located in a side street just off the main square of Wigtown, just 2 or 3 minutes' walk from a well-stocked Co-op. Great base for exploring Wigtownshire and the wider region of Dumfries and Galloway. Wigtown itself is lovely to stroll round, with it's many bookshops and a couple of nice cafes. Where it does fall down is an absence of restaurants for an evening meal, so be prepared to drive, or to make use of the nearby fish & chip shop or (as we did) cook your own meal!"

"A well enjoyed weeks break from busy lives! Lovely little cottage, perfect for couples. We did feel a bit cramped as a family of 4 but that’s personal nothing to do with the cottage, we knew it was small upon booking. My parents found the double bed uncomfortable and myself and my daughter spent the week walking into our wooden single bed frames and door locks which stick out so we are a tad bruised lol. But beds comfy! Garden is beautiful, a tad over grown in the middle was a struggle to make it down the bottom without brushing past flowers and bushes (every bee hates nightmare, me included!) but thoroughly enjoyed the patio area. Dogs loved it, my Yorkshire terrier was mad for the balls left! Nice touch, dog toys, treats, blankets etc.Free biscuits and pint of milk were appreciated! Overall a great holiday and a lovely cottage, thank you.Great base for exploring Scotland!"
