We really loved how spacious, updated, and clean the house was, and the wraparound deck was awesome! There were plenty of dishes, silverware, and cookware available. Since it was just my husband and I, we didn’t get to try out the two guest bedrooms, but the king-size bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable to sleep on, and I really loved the electric “fireplace” in the main bedroom. The only small complaints I would have was that the lock on the bathroom door on the first floor didn’t work, the white refrigerator needed to be cleaned, and a couple of the drawers in the main bathroom needed to be cleaned as well. I would also mention that the actual road leading up to the house is pretty rough and rocky so you really need to drive slow when driving on that road. Other than that, we really loved the house and really enjoyed our stay there. I would definitely recommend this home if you are looking for a quiet but lovely vacation home.

Cabin was in the middle of nowhere. Entrance road and drive were less than desirable. There were no window treatments to provide privacy throughout. Couldn’t feel secure. There were 2 TV remotes, but only one worked. That was a Roku TV and I couldn’t get local weather which was very desirable given the remnants of the hurricane that were coming through the area. Not able to watch major college sporting games. No cell service as well.

Relax in the mountains

The place is great, spacious and in a beautiful setting. It is a short drive to the delay harvest section of the Nantahala and to the white water downstream. The deck/balcony is really large and perfectly oriented towards the backyard ending on a bank of a creek. Perfect place to relax with family and/or friends.
