Never got to stay because there was an issue with the room that was reserved for me and they canceled the reservation; good thing I called them ahead of time, because they did not contact me to let me know. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The man on the phone seemed to not care at all that i was traveling in from out of town and now had nowhere to go without hassle once arriving in Topeka.
Made a reservation and it was confirmed. When I showed up the motel said they couldn't find my reservation and could not accommodate me. :( Fyi--this motel is primarily for locals who need a daily/weekly spot, not for tourists. I did not get to see a room but the property overall appears to be very run-down.
I didn’t like how there was poop all over the bathroom wall, blood on the sheet and pillow case and what looked like more poop on parts of the sheet as well. I also didn’t like whatever liquid that was flung all over almost every wall. It looked disgusting. I didn’t like finding I would have to run to the store for a travel sized bottle of shampoo because they didn’t even have THAT. I also didn’t like that they said the room was non smoking and it REEKED of cigarettes
The mattress was very poor in my room. It was very difficult to determine if the bedding was clean. I'm assumed it was. Overall, I got what I expected for the room rate, which was very good. I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone except a single person who just wanted a place to sleep for one night on a low budget.
Ended up with some, assumed bugs of some sort, what appear bites, mostly on upper torso. Bites might be, or might not be from or may not be from the longer than wild rice while thinner, generally ‘black’ which so readily squashed ax
I honestly only liked it's location very close to Walgreens, dollar store, sonic and burger king. The hotel itself was nasty, cops were here every night, drugs, no coffee, stained sheets and 1 towel an floor mat. SMDH
Absolutely disgusting stuff splattered on walls used sheets broken fridge and tv dirty room dirty towels broken curtains they had books holding up my bed doors didnt lock water was brown shower flooded the most disgusting dirty tradhy hotel ive ever been to
The room was really dirty i didn't want to sit on any the bathroom was dirty. Should have known it was dirty as soon as we checked in front desk said let her know if we needed anything. And as soon as we got in the room house Keeping was at the door
My room was a travesty. There were holes n the walls, there wasnt a chain or secondary lock on the door, the drapes were hanging off the track,. The heater blows cold even when set to warm. I didnt have a microwave,. The whole place looks on the verge of being condemned. I rate my experience a 1, only because i wasnt sleeping outside.
Roaches everywhere holes in the wall broken mirrors. No tray in the microwave so it wasn't usable. Sheets and pillow cases stained with who knows what. Was put in a smoking room when a non smoking room was reserved. Room was never cleaned the 4 days I stayed there
Dirtiest place I have ever stayed. There was trash on the floor. Booked a non smoking room but could smell smoke as soon as you walked in. There were no pillow cases on the pillows and pillows were stained. Wrapped them in my t shirts to use them. No towels in the room. Hair all over the bathroom and in the shower. Holes in the wall and crack heads walking around and being loud at all hours of the night. Don’t stay here.
There was cockroaches crawling everywhere, they didn't give us toilet paper, no new towels, and couldn't watch TV because the cable box was screwed up .
Bed bugs, Roches, holes in wall heater didn't work. And when told told mgm I was told I was wrong and no refund for the rest of my stay would be given.
did not stay. cops in parking lot making arrest. talked to cop. he said he goes there 2 or 3 times a week. unsafe and very dirty. owner wont call expedia back about my refund.
Front desk employee was clearly on drugs. Had to switch rooms twice because the air conditioning didn’t work. This hotel should be shut down or reduced to at the most 1/2 of what they’re asking. I had to go get my own toilet paper and towel from the Walmart down the street. Had an employee repeatedly open the door to try and clean the room when clearly someone was in there. Then tried to charge an extra night 2 days after I checked out. Methed our employees are clearly scamming their lace of employment for pocket cash and/or money for the prostitutes they were bringing in and out throughout various parts of the night
The property has cockroaches really bad they crawling on my as I slept! The room was full of nats! It smelled so badly! The room had no television and had no towels or washcloths I called office numerous times and never received anything! The sheets on the bed wasn’t clean there was blood on on the sheets! It was really disgusting and I’ll never go back to that place again! The whole hotel was checked out by prostitution and meth heads! It wasn’t worth the money or time
When we first arrived, the hotel is very run down. It has a pool but is out of order. The front desk was quick to check you in and get you out, quite uncomfortable. I reserved 2 rooms, 1 with 2 beds and 1 with 1 bed. The bigger room was missing a bed! After further inspection, there were no towels, toilet paper, tissues, trash bags. Nothing to accommodate the stay. We called to find out what was wrong and it took another hour to get the toilet paper. Then the maintenance and laundry guy brought up a bed, it was just awkward. Luckily, the maintenance guy was very understanding and quite easy to talk to. But more problems arose... it took 24 hours to get towels. People were selling drugs in the parking lot. A stranger approached our room and tried to get us to buy drugs. All in all, you get what you pay for.
We checked in at 4:15 pm. We were given room 111. We knew this was a cheaper motel but on a budget it worked. The get to the room with our stuff in hand and there was no sheets, no bedding, the AC blew hot air and no towels. The manager did call maintenance and the AC was fixed right away and we were brought bedding and the bed was made. But from 4:15-630pm I and my boyfriend asked for towels after we were promised when the bedding was brought over it would only be "10 minutes they were drying". Fast forward to 5am the next morning, still no towels. And FYI their "housekeeper was horrible. Pretty sure I should of received my money back or been comped another night room stay with issues corrected.
TLDR - Dont stay here.
We arrived and the whole exterior was dirty with trash everywhere. The clerk was nice (and that was the only nice thing about the hotel). When we got our room card we had to pass the pool which was empty (in mid june) and filled with dirty water, leaves, and trash. We had asked for a non smoking room and when we opened the door we could immediately smell the smoke. Then we actually looked around and saw cigarette holes in the blanket and on the actual mattress. A crack in the wall from where someone might have hit it. Everything was sticky and when we walked into the bathroom after a night of driving there was a huge spider in the sink and everything was covered in a layer of stickiness. There was also no toilet paper, towels for the shower, or any toiletries like soap or shampoo etc. We brushed our teeth outside on the walkeay with a water bottle and got cleaned the next morning with wet wipes from our car (not gonna say how we used the bathroom if thats any indication) . We left as soon as we woke up because we did not want to be there anymore. While we pulled the car over to the staircase we saw a man going through a bunch of shopping carts and trash next to the dumpster so not sure what that was. Once we got to our next destination to sleep the next night we pulled out our pajamas and realized they smelled like stale smoke from the last room and can not wear them again til theyre washed.
Ive stayed at cheaper hotels that were nicer.
I have stayed in hotels all over the United States, I go to 5 to 6 races out of town a year minimum. This is the worst place I've ever stayed in my life, I have never seen such a disgusting place, the place is filthy, the towels are rough and feel like 40 grit sandpaper to try to use, they never took out the trash, the never made the bed, they never furnished ample bathing utilities, the shower was filthy as it could be with mold and mildew, I don't understand our health department keep from shutting them down except they were foreigners around it. The only good thing they had a nice cold air conditioner. I am a disabled man and they put me up on the second floor the steps going up there was this terrible filthy. I would suggest this to anybody under any circumstances. Thank you
