The ladies at the front desk were great. Very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and quiet. Pool was cold, but felt nice on a hot day. The inside of the hotel was a lot better than the outside. Looks dirty and unkept from the outside but was happily surprised once I got to my room

They are not approved for breakfast at this time, the hot tub was out of order, the rooms were dirty, the place was pretty run down we didnt stay the night we left because of the rooms being dirty. The staff was very nice.

Half way excellent half was terrible.

The night shift lady with the dogs was INCREDIBLE! So kind and helpful. Very guest friendly. The morning shift lady was horrendous! Came down to get breakfast for my kids and she was beyond rude to me and my daughter. Didn’t even acknowledge we were standing there and got upset I asked for a couple more bags for my other kids (1per kid). She acted as tho I was interrupting her show. I will never consider this hotel again because of her. But 10/10 recommend the night shift lady.

The staff were friendly and accommodating and the room rate was attractive, but as it turned out, we got what we paid for. The facilities were dated and in poor condition, ie. : patched flooring, missing towel bar and tissue dispenser in bathroom, and no housekeeping whatsoever in our room. We had to ask for fresh towels daily and though they appeared to be clean , the towels were stained and discolored. One last thought; though we didn't make the decision to stay at the Days Inn based on the advertised continental breakfast, it was lacking any substance to be comparable to any other hotel we have ever stayed at that offered a continental breakfast.

It showed it had a hot tub on the website, which was being removed. There was only a grab and go bag for breakfast and that was definitely not what was advertised. The staff was very friendly and helpful! But we saw a man climbing into one of the rooms through a window on the morning we were leaving. Glad we didn’t see that the evening before!!!

Bedding was clean. Old pair of shoes on sidewalk by front door, parking lot islands were weed patches and trash strewn around. Found someone's hot pocket in room frig along w 2 inches of ice on frig freezer. Hard to put anything in there Only one channel of TV worked sometimes. Desk clerk advised -aim remote at box- nope still not working. Sirring in room and heard something in bathroom. It was raining water from ceiling Called desk, oh I'll go up there. Water stopped about 20 min later Ceiling soaked and showed previous damage. Avoided time in bathroom in case it fell in. No ck back w me, offer new room, offer to mop and I had to leave to work. Breakfast at 915 AM was airport coffee with sweet n low or sugar packets I didn't expect tun down service or room service at this price point but come on, this is ridiculous! Requested refund, no response yet.

The hotel’s best days are behind it, but I got it for the indoor pool and the complimentary breakfast. Unfortunately there wasn’t any breakfast. Either the description for the property needs to be changed or the person didn’t make it in to set up the food and didn’t inform anyone. Got a good nights sleep after time in the pool, so it worked out in the end!

We stayed at Days Inn for 2 days. It was so amazing . Our room was fabulous. Neve had a problem while there. Every one was absolutely wonderful. Very nice. Welcomes you with a smile right when walk in. I stay was fantastic. Very comfortable here at Days Inn &Suties. The house keeping was great. We will absolutely stay at Days Inn & Suites in Topeka Kansas again. The price was was high at all. Everyone is good to you and makes you feel a home and welcome. Thank you so much for having us .

Roaches. Dog poop all over. Dirty. Key stopped working and the metal “real” key wouldn’t open door. Staff is friendly. No real breakfast because they don’t have the license for it.

Pet and Tow

Old, not well kept. Booked the hotel because it was pet friendly. I am not a pet person, but was moving my niece, her cat and her boyfriend from texas to minnesota and stayed the night after driving all day. At check in had to pay extra because of the cat. Really? It is a pet friendly place.

The employees at check in and out were very polite. The remote for the TV did not work. It would not change any channels. I tried to attending employee on 11/23/24 at 8:20PM However they were no where to be found. While I was at lobby until 8:30, I witnessed two people come inside that wanted rooms. Nobody was there to help them.

I think I stayed at this particular days in about 3 years ago. While the building is in decent shape and the layout is the same, it has gone downhill because of the management. When I walked in the front door it was fine but it just looked older, if you've ever been in motels and hotels you understand the difference between outdated and older and this just felt older. The staff was okay, they were very accommodating and helpful. When I went to my room, the door lock worked I walked in the place it seemed very sparse but that's okay. What I didn't like, was the fact that the air conditioning did not work. That was fine because I had to go out anyway and since I didn't leave anything in the room I could go ahead and just tell them at the front desk and they could go in fix it and come back later. While I was standing over the air conditioning system, I noticed my foot was sliding, yes sliding! I figured it was a fluke. I was dead wrong! I ended up walking around different parts of the flooring and I could slide all over in the room. Very strange. I believe it is because they have mopped it with something like Pine-Sol that leaves a residue and that's all they do is mop and mop and mop as a quick mop to get the floor clean for the next people, but all they're doing at this point is making it slippery. The staff didn't seem to care.

Bad breakfast or no breakfast at all.

Hotel was fine for the price. The hallways had a heavy smell of cigarette and weed smoke. Lots of full trash can from rooms in the hallway. The actual Room was fine. No carpet. They did put down laminate floors that are a little uneven but again for the price it was fine, bed was comfortable. My biggest issue was the free breakfast. All they offered was 2 kinds of dry cereal.

Good room but overall atmosphere/amenities poor

Overall the hotel was a little rough but the room itself was clean and decor was recently updated. Staff were helpful. Had issues closing room door and exterior hotel side door due to latch/key issues. We were disappointed that the pool looked murky and not clean. The hot tub was broken (but not indicated to guests and still had sitting water in it). Breakfast was just coffee and two types of cereal but often there was no milk left. Hotel staff did try to assist with this but they didn’t have much milk to offer.

Our room were surprisingly updated, with a large vanity, hardwood flooring, comfortable beds, and very spacious! The refrigerator was shockingly bigger than most hotels!!! It kept our microwavable foods & drinks cold, and the freezer kept our frozen items solid!!! The staff was VERY respectful and did not harass us everyday with knocks or phone calls for service!!! BUT, each DAY and NIGHT they would always go into the attic over our beds to try performing some sort of witchcraft with burning candles over our heads!!! Also at night, homeless individuals would sleep in either the unlocked rooms or in the hall near the back door! They would leave the hotel to smell really badly by morning!!! One day, after informing the front desk clerk, who walked around to see the individuals for themselves, the clerk did absolutely NOTHING! They did not bother to spray for the smell, nor escorted them out!!! Then, why should the rest of us bother paying or even booking??? Obviously, this is common here or they was familiar with the individuals because they DID NOT bother to move, nor were they afraid of having the Police called! They stood right there toe to toe in the clerks face as one of them pulled out a phone and sat down on the stairs!!! It was shockingly PATHETIC for this employee!!! SMH... That was my que to go!

App stated pool, breakfast daily, hot tub, coffee in room. NONE OF IT! was provided! pool and hot tub was "out of order" which was not stated on app or when getting room, every morning there was NO breakfast, not even muffins or coffee. Coffee pots weren't provided in rooms. Had to ask for it. TV wasnt working. Shower had paint peeling off! The only thing good was the lady that worked dayshift. She was awesome. Had to fix my tv, found a coffee pot. Hallway smelled like pot smoke.
