![Old Manor House site, Topcliffe Known as Manor Hills or Cock Lodge, this is the site of a medieval manor house belonging to the Percys. The view shows the outer ditch and bank in the foreground with the inner ditch [moat] and bank beyond. The conical mound was the site of a windmill. The manor is thought to have been erected in the 13th century and was described as 'ruinous' in a survey of the estate in 1577. Goodramgate Apartments
Really central. Excellent check in support, allowing us to leave bags. Things just abbit tired, dishwasher was broken and left with stagnant water which was quite smelly
