Perfect spot for a short family get together
We came from our West and our son and two grandkids came up from Brisbane. Lovely stay and the kids loved the goats & horses out back. Unfortunately, a bit cool to use the pool, everything you need is in this lovely little cottage. Thank you.

We loved staying here! The place was very clean and has a lovely homey feel - there were tim tams and milk in the fridge on arrival ready for us to have a cup of tea, and toys and storybooks on the shelf which our son loved :) We all enjoyed exploring the gardens and property, patting the guinea pigs, watching the chooks and goats, picking mulberries off the tree and swimming in the pool! A perfect little getaway! Thank you! We will definitely be back :)

Charming Garden Cottage
Cranley Garden Retreat would suit a small family or a couple. The cottage itself is very private and has a spacious living area with fireplace, raked timber ceilings with feature beams and a polished timber floor. A highlight is the outdoor area with pool, flower and vegetable gardens and chickens, ducks and goats which give it a country feel. It would suit a short or longer stay.

A Wonderful Family stay!
We really enjoyed our getaway to Heather’s lovely holiday home. Everything was clean & ready; it was easy to access, and accurate as per listing. The fire was wonderful and we enjoyed having our own space out of town, yet we were still close enough to all the locations we needed to get to. The hosts are very welcoming and we would highly recommended staying here. (2 adults and 2 teens) Thank you!

Gorgeous Garden Retreat
From the first impression at checkin, to the end of the stay, our expectations and needs were met and exceeded. The beautiful meandering garden pathways that lead between the cottage, veggie gardens, animals, lawn, BBQ/fire pit area and pool are simply magical. The cottage itself immaculately clean and well appointed. The hosts incredibly friendly and helpful, all the while giving all the privacy one might need. We loved the cottage and the animals, the generous access to the veggie garden and chickens eggs, the view in every direction and proximity to town. Our stay was perfect. Sincerely, a happy Mom and two busy young children.

Exactly as we had expected
We really enjoyed staying at Cranley and using it as a base from which to explore Toowoomba and the small towns in the area. The WiFi was fast enough for our needs and Netflix was a bonus during the very wet weather on our first couple of days! The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped for our needs. Heather and Rod are very good hosts and we will happily recommend Cranley for couples and families.

Garden retreat
My friend & I had a very enjoyable stay at this property & will return. The second bedroom is tiny but the view from the top bunk made up for it 😊 The main bedroom & the living areas are spacious. We enjoyed our ‘happy hours’ in the courtyard & on the verandah. (Be prepared with insect repellent tho). The garden in September was a delight - full of flowering plants & a variety of birds. The cottage is about a 15 minute drive to the CBD but there is a shopping centre (includes Coles & Woolworths) about 5 mins away at Wilsonton.

Amazing cosy cottage.
We had a great time at Heather's place. The place was spotless and we felt very comfortable with the fact that it was a child-friendly place. Our little man had lots of fun. I would highly recommend it for those with (or without) little ones.

It was beautiful house with everything you needed. Can not forget the calm and refreshing lands, pants and all. Room one room was small but since only used for sleeping, no issues, spacious kitchen and lounge. We enjoyed thoroughly and felt like did get enough time to enjoy. The cottage itself was spacious and comfortable. Great for a couple. The 2nd bedroom is tiny, fits a bunk bed and not even room for a bedside table or anything else at all. The other single bed is in the main living area. Bathroom is very tired. But on the whole clean and a lovely view.

Cosy comfy stay
A very spacious and comfortable little cottage. The beds were very soft and comfortable and the shower hot and strong. We had very little interaction with the host and only just met her as she returned from a walk as we were about to drive out. We were a little disappointed that there was not much wood made ready in the fireplace and we scrounged a bit for kindling to get the fire started, but achieved a lovely fire in the end. Overall a cosy, comfortable stay.

Great choice
Property was absolutely suitable for our needs. Nothing missing, even included games and books which provided great entertainment when the very active grandchildren visited. Bed was comfortable as were the, lounges. Fire going when we arrived on a cold day was much appreciated. After all the rain we didn't get to check out the garden or the animals, apart from afar, but there has certainly been a lot of work put into it and that is an ongoing project. Owners are nearby and very pleasant but certainly not intrusive. We would certainly stay there again. Highly recommended.

Just what the doctor ordered!!
Heather and Rob were delightful hosts, who were welcoming and helpful. They were both lovely to have a chat with about their property, the area and anything in general. They did not impose at all, but were happy to see you around on the property. We had unlimited use of the swimming pool which was always sparkling. The gardens were just stunning and I really enjoyed photographing them and the farm animals. It was so peaceful and picturesque. Sitting on the verandah we could watch our daughter in the pool or just enjoy watching the two new foals frolick in the horse paddocks next door. All in all we could not have asked for a more relaxing break away, with all the comforts of home provided with warm country hospitality and serene surrounds. I didn't want to leave!

Country Getaway
Amazingly quiet, country setting with abundant, well tended gardens of variety and colourful. Well appointed kitchenette, and spacious living area, fitted for both hot and cold weather. The queen bed was so, so comfy. There is an abundance of covers to keep the winter chills out. Every thing suited our needs. We were able to catch our breath from a busy schedule and relax after our A.M. meetings, which were held nearby. Our favourite activity was to stroll the property especially the gardens and pet the goats and look for eggs. We had a great stay... thanks Heather.

Such a stunning outlook in a quiet almost rural area yet so close to town. Our hosts were friendly, kind and delightful, tho we only saw them briefly. The house was extremely clean, very well equipped and comfortable, it was located in the centre of a tranquil garden block. If I ever visit Toowoomba again I’ll stay there. A beautiful little getaway
This is a lovely little cottage. Very clean. Guests are really friendly and nice people. We had all the privacy we needed and loved talking to the farm pets. Kitchen and bathroom etc had all the utensils etc we needed. Plan to stay here again for a longer period. Really well positioned property amongst rural residential with great views from the verandah, but very close to everything. Thanks so much for your hospitality. Highly recommended.
