"I was incredibly disappointed in our stay at Superior Shores. I have been staying at this same resort for 35+ years. This trip was by far the worst. We paid for a room on the lake. This was not what we received! The employees said that we booked through Expedia and that was the confusion with our room choice. We had a room overlooking the woods. I let the office know and they switched us to another room facing the woods. The hallways were dirty with visible dirt on the carpet. It looked like they hadn’t done any maintenance or updated anything in years. The pool was cold and on the side of the pool, someone had spilled grape juice and it was not cleaned up. Several jets in the hot tub were not working. I wanted to take a bath, but that looked filthy. I didnt feel comfortable sitting in that tub. I put on shower shoes to take a shower. I don’t believe I will ever go back to this resort!! My old favorite spot will have to be changed to a new location. All of those memories will be lost. I only hope they can get their act together. As for this couple, we will not be coming back. "

"Stayed here for five nights based on previous reviews. I can see why Park Point Marina Inn is so highly rated. It was by far the quietest hotel I've ever stayed at. The walls are solid, the doors don't slam shut, you don't hear any plumbing noises from other rooms either. The inn is very clean, the staff is extremely helpful, and the breakfast was great. I would definitely recommend staying here."

"We enjoyed our stay but the room had not been properly cleaned. There was an empty soap container in the shower and something splashed on the back of the door. And the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. We also did not end up with free parking and had to pay $24 to get out of the lot. We are compensated by 50% off our next visit. The staff was very friendly and as helpful as they could be."
