Moose Lodge at Lake Mohawksin

  • This oasis sits on a beautiful lot on Lake Mohawksin only a few minutes outside of town. You can enjoy great fishing, boating, and campfires right by the lake. Walk out onto the patio to a spacious yard and a view of the lake, or sit on the large lakeside deck with an attached 3-season porch.
    Moose Lodge can sleep 12+ in its four bedrooms, plus 1 room with a plush full futon and ample common space. The main floor has the master bedroom, full bathroom, and an open area with a fireplace overlooking the lake. A loft with two bedrooms and a full bathroom has a landing area perfect for watching the memories being made below or enjoying the natural beauty through the two-story wall of windows. Downstairs you can walk out onto the patio or stay inside and have some fun playing pool, sitting at the bar, playing games, or watching movies. The downstairs also has a full bathroom.

Relaxation in the northwoods!

Our family stayed here for a week to celebrate an anniversary. Adams place was clean and quiet with plenty of privacy from neighbors on either side. Adam is easy to communicate with and always prompt in following up. I would recommend Adams place to others that are traveling to the Tomahawk area!

Multi generation family vacation

We enjoyed our stay very much! Super nice, clean place inside and out! Adam, the host responds quickly. We only had one downfall the small kiddos needed more room to swim by the doc, they didnt like the weeds. Overall tho we were very happy!

Ice fishing with friends

This property was a great cabin in the woods! We were able to ice fish off, hang out with friends, and visit the area of Tomahawk. This cabin was clean, large enough for our group, and had an amazing up north cabin feel. The check in/ check out process were smooth and the property manager was able to answer all of our questions quickly. I would highly recommend this rental. Our group has already been talking about going back!

Quiet Cabin On The Lake

We really enjoyed our stay in the woods as it was very peaceful and quiet. The cabin was very clean with plenty of room for a large family. The basement is finished, and we enjoyed playing games. The kitchen was well equipped as we prepared our Thanksgiving meals at the cabin. Adam, our host, communicated via email and ensured that we were happy and that the cabin meet our expectations. Overall, we were very happy with our experience.

The family was very impressed and happy with this house and property. If someone stays on the lower level and first-floor bedroom, note that there is noise from the sump pump in the basement that may be too loud for some people to sleep. It engages often. Some people are okay with it. But otherwise, we enjoyed the stay.

Family water fun.

We had some cooler weather, so we didn’t get to swim as much as we would have liked, but on the cooler days, we kayaked and paddle boated and fished, there were four kayaks, one was a double. We played yard games thst were included. The driveway was smooth blacktop so the kids roller bladed and skateboarded. We went to Minoqua for a day of fun as well. The place was well stocked. The only problem we had was a neighbor yelled at us and swore at us for being noisy around 11 am for boating as a group in front of his property, which was a bummer but we didn’t let it get to us. And the swim area was weedy, so wearing swim shoes was a good idea. We loved our stay snd got a chance to relax with plenty of space for 11. We would recommend this place and Adam was a good host.

Moose Lodge

We stayed at Moose Lodge the last week of August 2024. First of all it was immaculately clean throughout the home. Very quiet and private surroundings. They supplied everything we could have needed. A few items that concerned us were: The grill was not only very dirty it was literally falling apart with several large holes burned through the bottom of it. All the beds were hard as a rock to the point of not getting much sleep. The upstairs couch, loveseat and chair were so soft you sunk into them and resulted in several of us nursing sore backs. We were looking forward to using the advertised paddle boat but could not find it when we arrived. And then found out later it was broken by a previous guest. One last thing, the extremely small basement bedroom turned out to be unusable. Every time the water was turned on or a toilet was flushed it turned on the sump pump which was right up against the room and extremely loud. We liked this home but for the money paid we would expect more in regard to these issues.
