The hotel is a little dated, but still nice. The restaurant service was slow, and the food was just okay, but good enough if you don’t feel like leaving the hotel. The pool area is definitely nice and the gym is located there too. You have to ask hotel staff to let you in and out, so that’s a little inconvenient. We were in a quiet part of the hotel and our room had a nice sitting area. Overall, an okay stay.

The bed and shower were very comfortable. The hotel is a little on the old side. Would be nice to see furniture and doors upgraded. The staff was indifferent at times. We had a doorbell ring on our first morning at 8:30 am with hotel worker announcing “Lavandería” which means laundry service. Told the front desk not to have anyone ring us….it just went in one ear and out the other. It’s a culture thing I guess

Staff were excellent. The hotel is beautiful and has a lot of potential. However, there are several opportunities which made me leave to stay at a different hotel: The surrounding area has terrible odor (farm like) so the main lobby has very strong men’s cologne smell. The Starbucks is very limited in beverage and only cookies available (no pastries, sandwiches, or desserts that regular Starbucks have). In addition, they only accept cards and no cash. No drip coffee was ever available. I had to Uber to nearest Starbucks, The pool water looked unkept and unfiltered. My rooms floor was water stained and carpet was not fully vacuumed.
