Shiganoyu Hotel
2.5 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (8)
"The hospitality (service and meals) at Shiganoyu Hotel were amazing. While we did not speak Japanese and the staff did not speak English, they used a translation tool for conversation and didn't let that be a barrier. It was so comfortable for our family of 5 - very homey and welcoming. The tea and treat upon check-in was a nice surprise and delicious. The onsen was a relaxing bonus! Shiganoyu Hotel
Hotel Housei
3.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (186)
"Manager and staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious. Traditional sleeping mat was very comfortable and I probably got my best night's sleep while on this trip. Walls are a little thin, but all guests were quiet and respectful of others. Baths looked great but unfortunately didn't get to use them. With size 15 feet I wouldn't expect any of the hotel slippers to fit. We had excellent meals within a 5 minute walk. Really enjoyed Yamanouchi!"

"山奥です。施設周辺は夜の買い物がやや不便です。正直それを好む方がオススメです。ちゃんと昼間に買い出ししてればキッチンでとっても楽しく料理出来ます。朝はデッキでとても気持ちよくコーヒー飲んで過ごせました。いくつか果物を頂きました。是非エンジョイして欲しいです。"
