"The hotel is beautiful and the staff could not be any more attentive and helpful! They are the best! The rooms are charming and spacious with every detail thought of. While the rooms have air conditioning, the lobby and hallways do not, but that’s a minor detail. I’m not sure why it’s called a beach club because it’s in the middle of town, nowhere near the beach. The food is delicious too. I highly recommend the Guaycura and will definitely stay here again."

"We stayed a night with our 10 year old son, it was extremely peaceful, the bedding was amazingly enjoyable and spacious room, filtered water during shower, they provide clean drinking water and a coffee machine, we only needed an iron but overall I was content with how clean and updated the room was maintained. Surrounded by mango trees ! You will not be disappointed. "

Don't stay here if you need a TV or pool games to entertain you. The natural surroundings and cleanliness of the grounds and room immediately put you at ease. Los Colibris, you'll see me again! "

"We loved this our time at Villa Santa Cruz and will definitely go back if we find ourselves in the area again. The staff were amazing, the service excellent, grounds and property top notch. We saw so many whales in the ocean, and such great birdwatching as well. The beach is pristine and peaceful. The pool is clean and lovely. The hot tub was actually hot too! The only thing I would factor in to your stay is that the roundtrip transportation from SJD is a little pricier than I expected. Not a huge deal, just something to consider when budgeting for your trip."

"It is close and walkable to town, but on dirt and dusty roads. It is very noisy due to unlicensed dogs that wonder around the streets barking all night and during the day. Residents play their music very loud from there vehicles late at night which is a disturbance and there is no peace. But we did enjoy pizza 🍕 at a local restaurant which was good. "
