The property and the surrounding countryside were breathtaking. The staff was helpful & courteous. Loved our room & its view of Todi in the distance. Well located for day trips. Meals were delicious.

Not a 5-star property
The restaurant staff was very polite and efficient, and the food was quite good. However, the hotel is outdated and is far from being a 5-star property as advertised. The room smelled of humidity and the heating system over-heated the room and made the same noise every 20 mins that we heard even with earplugs. The decor is probably from the 80’s and would need a major renovation.

Excellent stay. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious and clean. On site restaurant was very good, had good options and could cater for allergies. Pool and facilities were top class.

Peaceful great service
Great stay at the Relais Todini. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Great breakfast in a very nice room with views of the hills and pool. After long days of touring, we had dinner there several evenings, food was very good. We were leaving very early in the morning, they were kind enough to set up a breakfast for our group by 4 am. That is the kind of attention that they gave us. It is a very peaceful, beautiful area, a great place to get away to.

1 night retreat
We stayed there for one night as a bit of a relax so we didn't explore the local area. The setting and views are superb and the staff very friendly and professional. The room was of a high quality and in keeping with the rest of the property. The restaurant is a business in it's own right so other locals came there in the evening to dine and enjoy the views. Reasonably expensive and not a huge variety of dishes so worth considering if there are children staying.

If in Umbria, Stay Here
Relais Todini is a little out of the way, but it's worth the stay. The property is beautiful; it is in the midst of a winery and on top of a hill, so the vistas are wonderful. The staff is friendly, although it appears that there has been some turnover. The Restaurant, which is not owned by Todini, is owned by Chef John Paterson. John is a great guy and his kitchen is even better. The breakfast layout is beautiful and excellent. Dinners are out of this world. We are here two out of the three nights we were here. It would have been three, but the restaurant was closed Tuesday.

The bathroom was very small, but bed quite comfortable. The dining and breakfast rooms were beautiful and John the chef was very talented... Great dinners!

Located in beautiful grounds on a hill 8 Km from town the hotel affords an exceptional view of Todi & the stunning surrounding countryside. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel in the country
We had 2 nice days at this hotel. Nice pool, food was good, service occasionally slow, but staff very pleasant and accommodating. We would definitely stay again.

Wow! This is the place to stay near Todi.
The Relais Todini is just five minutes out of Todi and in style and ambiance it is an experience one will not forget. The hotel is located among the vineyards of the famous Todini Winery.The 360 degree views are breathtaking from every location in the hotel. The restaurant is gourmet and the pool and spa offer that extra amenity in warm weather. Be sure to take a tour of the 21st century wine making facility and take advantage of drinking some of their good bottles during your stay. It is easy to drive into Todi for dinner and be sure to park at the lot with the funicular.

Quintessential Italy, Loveliest in Umbria
What a wonderful and romantic place! Watching the storms proceed down the valley from the 360 degree prospective was a treat. The service was attentive and gracious. The restaurant accommodating with good local cuisine. The prices were reasonable for such a place.

Gorgeous position overlooking Todi
This hotel is in a picturesque location a few kilometres from the centre of Todi. It has a resort feel with a great pool area overlooking fields and Todi itself. We spent till early afternoon relaxing there after checking out and driving to Rome. It is an ideal way to break a drive to Rome and the pool is a definite bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

romantic getaway in the middle of Umbria
The villa itself, our suite, the pool, and the restaurant was everything you would dream of in the middle of Umbria. The staff was helpful, even if you don't speak Italian. The only drawback is finding it as there is no address and our navigation system needed an address.

Fabulous small resort for peace and quiet
After 3 crazy tourist ridden days in Rome The Relais Todini was a huge welcome. My husband and I prefer this type of retreat over the city but felt obligated to see the sites in Rome. Anyway, after arriving on a sunny Sunday afternoon, we relaxed at the pool with a bottle of Todini Prosecco and a pannini. The resort is situated on top of a hill surrounded by the vineyards, olive groves and sun flower patches. The restaurant was delicious and the staff always friendly and attentive. 2 small gripes with the place: 1. the beds were atrociously hard and with my husband's bad back, he was in pain some of the week. With all the luxury of this place, you would think they would have better beds. 2. We walked in and the staff took us upstairs and kind of just dropped us there, not mentioning the tennis courts, bikes, spa, internet, dinner times or anything else about the grounds. We had figure out things ourselves.

Le Relais Todini - a gem outside of Todi
This is a beautiful little hotel about 5 kilometres from Todi - north of Rome. Situated on a hill, in a vineyard, it has 360 degree views of the surrounding landscape of rolling hills and fields. Smart and sophisticated, it has - nevertheless - an Italian authenticity and charm; it would not suit you if you do not have a car, but if you are after a romantic location, a nice restaurant, good service, peace and calm, then this place should not be overlooked. I thought it was beautiful.

Fabulous Hotel!
My husband and I recently toured Tuscany and were lucky enough to book this amazing hotel. We have traveled extensively and this was THE BEST HOTEL/ Italian Villa that we have ever encountered. The staff was fabulous and upgraded us to a suite because the hotel wasn't busy. Dinner in the restaurant was also outstanding. Do yourself a favor and don"t miss the Relais Todini. I PRAY we get to return!

Can't wait to go back
Great location close to Todi but not in the historic center which is a plus if you have a car to deal with daily. The staff spoke English and were very helpful. The room was very comfortable as was the bathroom. Free internet is another plus. The grounds are beautiful and there is much to do at the manor. The restrurant was very good and the service was tops. Would definitely stay here again.

Outstanding Boutique Hotel
The hotel and staff were wonderful. The pictures the hotel has posted to their website on the internet are very accurate. There were no surprises. I understand the hotel was built in the 15th century and became a hotel about 12 years ago. There were only 9 rooms and I felt like I was staying in a beautiful private home. The location outside of town was perfect for a relaxing few days and the views were beautiful overlooking the countryside and the vinyards. We ate all our evening meals at the hotel and they were very good. I would highly recommend this hotel. In my opinion, this hotel is a wonderful romantic getaway geared for adults. I didn't have an opportunity to use the spa during the visit. The rate paid was very fair and the accomodations exceeded my expectations.

relais situato su una collina di fronte alla città di Todi. Ottima la vista sia di giorno, sdraiati sul lettino della piscina sia di sera gustando una cena al ristorante sulla terrazza. Camere in ordine, set da bagno buono, cena buona, unica cosa un po' scarsa la colazione

Im Todini logierten wir wie in einem Palast. Die Zimmer, die Lage des Palastes mit der grandiosen Aussicht war schon toll. Leider liegt es abseits von Todi (10 km ?), so dass man auf die Gastronomie angewiesen ist. Die Portionen sind sehr fein, aber klein- der Wein hingegen gut und im Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gut. Das Frühstücksbuffet ließ keine Wünsche offen.

Hotel molto bello, in splendida posizione, ma gestito in maniera grossolana e non all'altezza di un 5 stelle. Punti negativi: 1) colazione risicata (per esempio la frutta e lo yogurt sono disponibili su richiesta e fornite in porzioni esigue), a chiedere un secondo caffè si ci sente in colpa... 2) personale alle reception disponibile in maniera discontinua 3) siamo dovuti andare via un giorno in anticipo perché mia moglie è stata ricoverata d'urgenza in ospedale e ci è stato addebitato l'intero costo del soggiorno (per altro dicendo che se avessimo prentato direttamente era un conto, ma siccome avevamo prenotato tramite expedia era impossibile). Certo, formalmente erano in diritto di farlo, ma ci si aspetta un'attenzione diversa, specie in un caso come questo

Posizione splendida, bella struttura ma piena di piccoli difetti che in un 5 stelle non ci devono essere: maniglia verso la piscina attaccata con il nastro tendoni sporchi di verde, servizio non all'altezza. Ripeto peccato anche perché la cucina e superlativs

Ottimo hotel per luna di miele
E' molto gradevole,il personale e' preparato e professionale. Il locale ( interior design) potrebbe essere piu' ricercato pero' vista la categoria ed il costo dell'acqua minerale in camera. In ogni modo la vista e' fantastica ed unica!
