"I actually had to cancel my stay as I stood in the lobby. My mother has dementia and just wanted to get home. She and I had a very tense time in the parking lot, but clerk Marisa was such a big help! She offered snacks for my mother and tried desperately to see if the stay could be tefunded. (It couldn’t). Because of her kindness and the kindness of a bystander, LeAnn, I give this hotel 5 stars! "

"Soul Oasis a hidden gem! The slightly retro vibe of the decor was so cute while at the same time providing all the modern amenities. The kitchen had enough plates, silverware, utensils, cleaning supplies, pots and pans, etc; the big porch has beautiful views and it somehow feels secluded even though there are houses around and you're only 15 minutes from Solomon's Island with nice restaurants and stores. One thing I would make people aware of is IF you have mobility issues or are a bigger person, getting up the narrow spiral staircase to the second floor bedroom would be challenging, but if that is not a concern, then this place gets a 10 out of 10! "

"Excellent communication from the owner, Julie and the property manager. Our family (newborn to adults) stayed at this property while in town for a wedding at Rousby Hall. We were a quick and easy 15 minute drive away from the venue. The house was very clean and nicely set up to accommodate our group. We only wish we had more time to spend at the house than we did. The pictures are exactly what you see when you check in - no unhappy surprises. Thank you for hosting us and being so flexible with our special requests. "
