Escarpment Heights Motel

10/10 Excellent

"I have been burned by Motels before and I was hesitent while booking here. However seeing a lot of positive reviews I took a chance. This Motel is exactly as shown in the pictures. The room we were in was a double queen and it was immaculate. They were not brand new but very very well kept. Staffs were really helpful and pleasent to deal with. We stayed for 2 nights and loved the experience, the motel is 2 min walk from Little Tub Harbour."

"Room was cleaned daily. Staff was extremely helpful. This was late season so pool wasn't opened but I wouldn't have had time to use it. Location was excellent. Since my last visit, They put in new walkin shower. Upgraded the room with new mattress. I highly recommend staying at this property. Kudos to the proprietor for a great job"

"The space is lovely, and it was quiet and relaxing just like we had hoped it would be. We did pass by it when we first got there, there wasn't clear signage that was visible from the road. We are big tea drinkers and like boiling water to steep our tea, so an absence of a kettle was disappointing, the fridge is not very big, so the capacity (of which we used it for) to keep our food cold wasn't really there (we did a modified thanksgiving dinner and snacks for hiking) I know the listing says it sleeps 8-10 people but we had 8 people (I slept on the couch) and it was just a tad over crowded. (3 different families, so bed sharing was not an option for me) We also really would have liked to utilize the back deck more but with how cool it was we couldn't. Idk if a propane heat source would be beneficial or not. Otherwise it was a lovely trip, ver central to things we wanted to do, it was warm and comfortable and we all enjoyed ourselves while we stayed there. Thank you!"

"Wonderful place to decompress by enjoying the views of the water and ever-changing skies and clouds from the deck and inside the house, as well as watching the mist and rippling water with the breezes at different times of day. We went out on the deck in the middle of the night to stargaze and sense the immensity of the universe and watched sunrises and sunsets every day. Did puzzles on the large table in the dining area overlooking the water in the afternoon, and slept comfortably at night. Fall is a great time to visit Singing Sands and the whole Tobermory area without crowds. Thank you Alexis and Canada for the opportunity!"

"The place was very clean and beautiful. Sunset was really magnificent. Free available Kayaks were a hit for my girls and me. Nightly bonfire was my girls' favorite activities. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Host kept his distance and let us have privacy. He was very eager to show us around his big property when asked. 10+ and will come back again in the future."

Cabin Near Little Tub Harbour & Flowerpot Tours

"Very quiet, great backyard in the forest. One thing would have helped and that is instructions on where to find the chair cushions as well as fire pit equipment. We found it but would be nice to have upfront in the great instructions. Overall a terrific place to stay, short walk into harbour and restaurants."
