  • It takes 1,000 butterflies to weigh one pound (.45kg), and the branches on this tree were sagging under the weight. The monarch colony here was quite different than at the more popular El Rosario sanctuary. 40 minutes outside Zitacuaro, near El Capulin, we chartered a couple of tiny mountain horses to take us up the rugged path to view the colony. The monarchs were clustered within a ravine, swirling around a few choice pine trees in search of sunny roosts. Whenever the sun went behind a cloud the butterflies scrambled into the air and back to the safety of the nucleus, knowing that settling down for the night outside the warmth of the colony would mean certain death.

    The hotel is in a good area, we felt safe. Lady at front desk was nice. The downside is that the towels looked dirty and it was cold (we visited in November). It was fine for one night.

    En internet ofrecen estacionamiento lo cual no es cierto, la tv de la habitación tiene pésima imagen, la puerta del baño rechinando cada vez que se utilizaba, mucho ruido no se puede dormir a gusto, los botes de basura de la habitación con la basura del huésped anterior .

    Al llegar no tenían conocimiento de mi reserva tienen una libreta donde anotan las reservaciones, por suerte había habitaciones disponibles, al mostrarle mi reserva vía electrónica me asignó habitación, pero me dijo que debía saldar el total de la reserva 3230 pesos, le dije que había pagado la mitad en Expedia a lo que comento que no tenían trato con Expedia y que hablara para el reembolso de lo pagado en la agencia. Es verdad que Expedia no tiene trato con este hotel?? Por qué aparece en Expedia este hotel si el personal dice que no tienen contrato??

    Es un hotel regular, sin estacionamiento, esta bien para pasar una noche, pero solamente, el drenaje huele mucho todo el tiempo, la señal de TV es muy mala y el internet no llega a las habitaciones. Creo que por el precio se puede encontrar mejores opciones.

    La ubicación es excelente, pero el trato que recibimos de parte del personal deja mucho que desear. Nos cerraron la puerta del hotel antes de las 10 pm y faltaron varios servicios basicos de los hoteles. Espero mejoren si atención y trato para los demas.

    Lo que no me gusto es que no respetan la habitación reservada y te colocan en la que les convenga violando tu derecho de reserva. La explicación que dan es simplemente la reservación solo te da derecho a habitación. La habitación que me asignaron por cambio no es ni la mitad de la que me habían reservado.
