The Fly Fish Flat

Exclusive and quiet (unless a rocket launches), upstairs apartment in downtown Titusville. The building is on the Indian River right across from the Kennedy Space Center's launch pads and two blocks from Titusville's common area with restaurants, shops and clubs. A large window in the living room will allow you to look down Indian River Avenue to Astronaut Memorial Park and Sandpoint Park. It’s a people (or dog) watchers paradise. Your flat is just South of Scobie Park and there are several more parks North toward the city marina. Although not directly on the river it is just down the stairs and around the corner to view launch pads and scheduled rocket launches from the Space Center.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Fly Fish Flat. We stayed three days. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. If you want to see a shuttle launch, there isn’t a better location! We will definitely stay there again!

A Beautiful Getaway on the Space Coast

This was the most welcoming comfortable rental we have ever stayed at. It was clean, decorated perfectly for this area. Reminded me of my late step father with all the fishing and nautical decorations throughout. It was spacious well appointed with so many amenities. The bathroom was wonderful with a fantastic walk in shower. The two bedrooms both had comfortable beds, TVs and ceiling fans. Communication with owner was fantastic and gave great suggestions for launch observation. Would absolutely stay there again and suggest it to all I know.

Space Coast Visit

We thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations. The apartment was large, comfortable, and charmingly decorated in seashore style. We loved the beautiful sunrises and wildlife viewing at the Halifax River. The Kennedy Space Center gantries and VAB were clearly visible from this location.

My wife and I had great stay at Capt. Mitch's lovely flat. Very well appointed, spacious, very clean, great kitchen, comfortable furniture and king bed.Location could not be better in historic Titusville and walking distance to several good restaurants. Great location: — for food (lots of great restaurants within a few blocks: BurgerRobs, Cafè Paradiso Bistro (New Orleans style), and multiple specialty bakeries…) —for comfort (the apartment was very comfortable with an especially nice kitchen … — thanks to our host’s alert, we were able to see a space launch from the parking lot at 1:30 am! Bird watchers delight

Great location with quick easy access to Merritt Island bird watching and Canaveral Lakeshore. View of the Space Center and launch area was exceptional. Sunrise views of the water and the birds were great.Historic downtown Titusville was a few steps away with nice casual local dining options. The apartment was roomy, inviting, clean and comfortable. Well stocked with towels. Kennedy Space Center was also just a short ride away. The host Captain Mitch was helpful and pleasant.

Nice flat at great location

We very much enjoyed our stay. The flat was as promised and nicely accommodated us two adults and large dog. Being right on the Indian river, you can walk out the front door and watch dolphins, various shore birds and pelicans. Walking distance to park, downtown & restaurants. Short drive to Kennedy Space Center & Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge and Cape Canaveral beaches. Extra bonus was seeing a SpaceX rocket launch.

This place is so adorable!

What an amazing place. It was spotless and I am very picky. It's much bigger than what the pictures show. It definitely has a nostalgic feeling with all the wood accents and I absolutely loved the smell! I'm a weird smell person and this was perfect. Great location and lovely home!

This property is in the best location for multiple events we wanted to do around Titusville. Easy walk to downtown to eat and drink. Right down the road from Parrish Park where we launched from to see bioluminescent while kayaking! Also got to see a Falcon 9 launch right out back. It's right on the water and has a great view of the launch pads across the water. The home itself is also very nice and clean. Beds and couches were comfy and everything was well taken care of. Definitely stay here is you want to go to space museums, kayak, and see launches in Titusville.
