"If you are looking for somewhere central this apartment is in the very centre of town and the Saturday market. It is not for those less able as there are 3 flights of stairs to the apartment. When you are at the front door the neighbours dog barks. We appreciate there is nothing that can be done about this. "Our stay was really nice. The staff were so friendly. Breakfast was excellent but they are awaiting a chef so had to go out for meals. Our room was lovely and clean as was the lovely bathroom towels. The only thing wrong was no mirror in the room(only bathroom). Also the shower was a little on the small size as we are elderly(80) so was a bit difficult in/out but we managed. Parking was also good so thank you to The Lion Hotel for a lovely 3 night stay."

Very good breakfast"

We could not find the promised shared kitchen and the walls were very thin. Everyone was friendly but we only saw one last when we arrived and one when we left. Free parking available however it gets busy in the evening because the people those who are coming to pub also use the same carpark. The hotel situated in a great location.
