This lost pyramid in northern Africa is the burial tomb of Numidian king Juba II and his wife, Cleopatra Selene II (daughter of Cleopatra of Egypt and Mark Antony).  Due to its poor maintenance, it is currently on the list of endangered UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Access to the site is off the highway between Algiers and the nearby Roman city of Tipaza.
The Royal Mausoleum of Mauretania in Tipaza, Algeria was built in 3 BCE by Juba II of Numidia (c. 50 BCE – c. 25 CE) and his wife CleopatraSelene II (40 BCE – c. 5 BCE). This tomb may have been the final resting place of Juba II and Cleopatra Selene II, although their remains have not been found.
