"Ideally situated, just 10 minutes walk to the harbour front where there is plenty of choice of bars and restaurants. The hotel is very clean, pool is great, the food is very good and the staff are friendly and helpful. "A nice hotel but as it was the start of the season, a little disorganised in terms of the rooms, what was provided etc. The first room allocated was under the bar and very noisy at night. There were also constant issues with corridor lighting not being turned off. We moved rooms eventually, which did help. "I took my mom out on a lovely summer holiday to Astir and we’d love to be back someday! The rooms were lovely, and so were the pools, the sea water was warm which is quite a change for us. The lunch staff knew our order by heart, and everyone we spoke to provided excellent service, from reception, to the bar staff and buffet waiters, everyone was exceptionally welcoming. The food was pretty good, there’s options for everyone. We did expect there to be more fish on a regular basis, but when they did it was amazing. You’re catered for all meals if you have the all inclusive package which I’d recommend. We were pleasantly surprised with the entertainment, which we didn’t know we’d encounter! The entertainment team kept us going all day, from the water gymnastics class all the way to their shows after dinner, what a treat! They were all super lovely and made the time to speak to everyone they walked past throughout the day. The only not so positive element was the amount of children in general. I purposefully picked a hotel that didn’t seem to cater to babies and children that much but that didn’t seem to stop it being packed with families with young kids, specially around the pool entrances. "
