Excellent stay in Timoleague
We had a wonderful week at Abbeyview House. It’s got a great location and vantage point, lovely gardens and probably one of the best equipped and amazingly refurbished homes we have stayed at. The rooms are way larger than what you see in the pictures and very well appointed. The kitchen is the absolute highlight of the house. Ted was the perfect host - very prompt and helpful. Timoleague itself was a delight, while neighbouring Courtmacsherry and Clonakilty were so easy to get to. Lots of picturesque trails and walks, and excellent restaurants in the vicinity.

Warm beautiful house
A lovely gracious house beautifully done to the highest standard and yet welcoming, simple and a fab position looking over the silvery water of the estuary. Three minutes on foot to a restaurant and many bars, a beautiful ruined abbey, post office and chemist, two beautiful churches even a Michelin starred restaurant, and also two minutes to lovely walks in rolling hills. Lovely.
