"At first glance a very strange experience at what seemed an abandoned roadside hotel. After a couple of minutes we were greeted by the host though, and from here everything was smooth. Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms and freshly cooked meals. The facilities, facades and ‘restaurant’ for sure needs a good hand to be somewhat more presentable and inviting, as it gives you a feeling that the place has had its time of glory in the past. "Kleine gemütliche Unterkunft, sehr sauber, bequemes Bett, alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Leider sehr hell, was durch Verdunkelungsrollos aber erledigt wäre. Hellhörig ist es auch, wir aber nicht empfindlich. Fußläufig ist ein tolles griechisches Restaurant und gegenüber ein schöner Spielplatz! Für uns war es das Richtige. "

"Good location, very good rooms with incl. breakfast, great value and a great restaurant with local food at modest prices which was a real bonus. Whether using this hotel as a base for local exploration or as an overnight stop this is a real find. "

"It is a lovely hotel with all its spa facilities. Room was very comfortable. Staff very helpful. However, it does not have a central bar area where you can just relax with a drink. I will stay there again next week but I will be looking for another option in the Friesland area."
