"I had found it difficult to work out exactly where it was and when we got there where reception was as there were two signs pointing in different directions. However the receptionist was very nice and carried my bag. The whole site is set out beautifully and I loved the garden. The room was good. We had lovely weather. It might be less agreeable in rain. "The accommodations in the old mill are fabulous! Updated rooms with antique furnishings. Heat and AirCon. Lovely sound of the weir. I requested a "river view room if possible" and got the best room on the premises! The grounds are well tended & include riverside dining, lawns, sun deck, hot tub, and a tiny sauna with a river view. Excellent for a getaway holiday. Having a car or a bicycle would increase the options for activities and dining. Tho the hotel chef is top notch and the food excellent. Breakfast was also good with many choices."
