Staff is friendly and professional. Prefer a hot breakfast in the morning. Continental breakfast was well maintained by staff. Good bartender. Two bed in 104 gave me back pain on both nights.

This is our second stay and it was as wonderful as the first. Quiet and private. Pool was great and the views were beautiful. Kayaking, SUP and Fishing, they also had bikes available.Fire pits at night and Ticklers a good place to eat and drink! Very enjoyable, we will be back again and again!

Mini vacay

Came for a one night mini vacay and it didn’t disappoint even though it rained. Everyone was friendly! So many amenities to make use of! Loved the sauna, restaurant right out our front door. Had a view of the water which we didn’t expect! Was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience.

The property was welcoming to pets and us. The property was very pretty with lots of activities to do. The bed was dirty. Hair all inside the sheets and maybe mud? On two of the white under sheets.

Couples Chesapeake getaway

Great, very inclusive facility. Quiet evening, pool, and hot sauna was a fun distraction. Dinner at Ticklers Crab Shack was so good! the crab & veggie soup was fantastic.The morning coffee and offerings was good as well.

Great 4th of July weekend

We had a great 4th of July weekend at Wylder. The food and view was great. Enjoyed blue crabs. The room is not big but we didn't spend much time in the room. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful when needed.

Good place to destress, look out for flies

Good family trip. Generously sized room with access to saltwater pool, non motorized water sports, bikes. Friendly staff. Too many flies and mosquitos inside room, restaurant, outside. Wylder needs to invest in electric bug zappers strategically placed at the outer perimeters of the property. Restaurant menu is overpriced and uninspired.

Hotel is very charming but lacks things like a fridge in the room or ice machines available to the public. The room was small but adequate, and the grounds and restaurant were very good. The pool was dominated by parents and children who parked themselves in the pool and stayed all day. No lounge chairs were available and pool was taken. Having said all that, the hotel is very pet friendly.

We pulled up to The Wylder on Tilghman Island and immediately was taken back with its charm and character of the entire property. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We met Lauren in reception and she was great! We spent time at Ticklers and enjoying the amenities of the property. We appreciate how dog friendly this resort is, since we love to travel with our dog. As a first time visit to the Island and Wylder, we have felt so welcome and will be planning another visit back soon!

Wylder is a pet-friendly hotel with a beautiful location on the Chesapeake Bay. The sauna and cold plunge are wonderful, so relaxing. We managed to get a day and a half in lounging on the expansive green lawn, relaxing by the fire pit before the weather changed. The salt water pool is also a gem. It was so wonderful being able to swim and soak and then not emerge reeking of chlorine. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ the only downside: we had a king bungalow right by the deck and a wedding party took over both the pool and the deck for an entire day. Try to book around any wedding parties if you are looking for peace and quiet. Thirty people just lounging and drinking in the shared common areas kept me up until 2 am. And they were drunk so there is no reasoning with drunk people celebrating!

Quick Romantic Getaway

My wife and I had a wonderful 2 days away for my birthday. Highlights were the food at Crabbies (best crab cakes I've ever tasted), morning coffee on the pier, the salt water pool and the sunset cruise. The only downside was that there were a ton of kids there. We have 3 kids of our own and were hoping for a more adult atmosphere, but what are you going to do? Oh yeah, my favorite thing of all was taking the complimentary beach cruises to the sputh point of the island. It was a great 6 mile bike ride. The wifi and tv had poor connections, but I embraced being off the grid for a weekend. Place would be perfect if it was adults only.
