"Everything was good except my experiences with the restaurants. The one top, the staff were just talking with each other and they didn’t attend to me so I left after 10 minutes. I could understand if they were busy, but they were not. The restaurant below, I didn’t like the food. I tried twice and no I didn’t like it—my opinion only. Everything else was great. "The grounds are beautiful and location very convenient for Tikal and some shopping. The staff is very helpful, especially the wait staff. They were most pleasant and friendly. My 8 year old granddaughter played in the pool, played giant checkers and learned to play pool. We were able to get adjoining rooms which enhanced our family vacation. "

"I had mixed feelings about my stay. While the hotel presents itself as a leading option in the area, I honestly expected better basic amenities. Some essential things were missing for example, there were no bed sheets provided in the room, which is something very simple but important. Another issue was with the shared showers in the common areas, where the water was constantly running hot and couldn’t be properly adjusted. This made the experience less comfortable than it should have been. That said, I want to highlight that the staff were friendly and welcoming, and I really appreciated their attitude and effort to help. Overall, I believe that a place positioning itself at this level should offer more complete and better-maintained facilities."
