"We enjoyed our stay very much. It's a wonderful place to relax and forget the hassle and bustle of the city. We couldn't believe how quite it is. The cave is very cosy and comfortable and has everything you need. We felt very much at home. Grit, our host was very helpful and easy going. It's a great base for trips and hikes, but you definitely need a car. The steep road down to the property is a bit of an adventure, but you get used to it."

"Met by the owner who was delightful. She had kindly organised some groceries for us as requested. The property was scrupulously clean and beautifully designed and appointed. The beds are very comfortable and an abundance of towels is provided. The villa was very warm because of underfloor heating throughout. The gardens are lovely. This is a very private location with fantastic views. A car is essential."

"Excellent value for money in a lovely setting, the half board buffet was good quality. All staff were friendly. I stayed after getting off a cruise and was allowed access to my room at 10am, this was really appreciated. Would definitely return to the hotel.
