Our dogs made very welcome and a quick tour of chickens, turkeys, geese, lambs, baby rabbits and very friendly donkeys made this a really interesting alternative to our usual stay at chain hotels before heading South. Tim (one of the owners) gave us lots of information about where to visit. Breakfast was great, fresh bread, cheeses, meats, scrambled egg. "This is a good enough rental but with some touches could be so much better. The biggest problem we had were the stairs to the bedroom, and if you have to use the bathroom you will be using them to descend from the loft beds. They are very narrow very steep and the bannister has come loose. This is a real safety problem and impossible for many people Throughout our stay my wife kept saying well this is how French rentals are. So you understand there was no toilet paper no paper towels no shampoo...

"The apartment itself was a good size there was only the two of us, but I think would be cramped for 6 people. The apartment had everything we needed. The swimming pool complex is under construction which we were aware of before we booked, however the restaurants have limited service We went to buy a take out pizza at 7:15 and was told there wasn’t a pizza chef working that day. Went to the golf clubhouse ordered a bottle of wine €19 asked for a menu and was told they stop serving food at...
