Tidal Wave Memorial Tours and Activities

Our room had a musty/moldy smell to it similar to a damp basement or a locker room. Refrigerator was tiny and took overnight to chill our drinks. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was nice. Casino drink choices were terrible and when I asked for an ice water at the bar, I was told that they did not serve ice water and instead I must purchase an $8 bottle of water. We attended the Zouk nightclub and the bartender made sure to ignore me until the one minute after the free happy hour for ladies was over with. Spent $65 for two drinks that I was told would be free. Hotel is located pretty far from the strip action and it was much too hot to walk down the strip. Front desk staff did nothing to acknowledge my birthday celebration even though it was mentioned in our booking. They also did not ask how our stay was during check out. I would have had a few complaints to mention but was not even asked. Overall I had a decent time for my first trip to Vegas, but in the future I would book a hotel that is more accommodating towards guests. Their customer service was very lacking. Also I would suggest booking further south down the strip or in the downtown/freemont area to be more centrally located.
