Good thing we were at a wedding and not spending much time in the house.
The house was nice and described just as is. Plenty of sleeping room. However the cleanliness of the house was horrible there were cobwebs everywhere. However the most disturbing thing was what we found in the house first my grandson came to me and said Grammy what is this I found it by the chair. He found a piece of adult candy, I’m assuming there was a bachelorette party before our stay because I also found a pair of paper glasses in the lamp hanging in kitchen that said bride to be. There was a ballon on the floor behind the stand by the tv. There were also gold dot glitter on the stairwell. When we got there the house was very cold after talking to the property manager it was fixed around 8pm when a handyman came and brought us two more electric heaters which were supposed to be in the house but were not. The fireplace was supposed to work as a heating source but never did get fixed even after the propane man came to the house. The wifi never did get working after turning off the wifi and rebooting it a couple times as instructed by the property manager. She kept telling me it should be working but that never did happen and no one was sent to try and fix it. After hours of trying the internet Friday night we just decided to use data from my phone so my sister could use her iPad. Like I said the house was as described and beautiful but those couple of items I’ve described make it an upset. The heat and internet situations were the most upsetting about our stay.
It’s as spacious as described, whole family for it in, with beds to spare. We had great weather and even better views of the water. There was plenty to do! Will go back!

Excellent
Very comfortable and spacious home with all the amenities. Lots of bed to accommodate 10 people easily. We were not able to enjoy the kayaking . The outside fire pit have enough space and we enjoyed the evening outside. Will like to come back again.

Not quite what it seems, but still pretty cool
I reserved this house for my bachelor party weekend because it seemed like a really cool cabin near a lake with a lot of green space for us to run around and play lawn games. It seemed perfect. About an hour before we got there, we got a frantic call from our Evolve representative saying that the power was down and that we couldn't stay there. There were 10+ guests staying at the cabin, so that would have been a disaster. Fortunately, by the time we arrived the power situation had been sorted out and we began our stay. Unfortunately, while the house was nice and clean and decently appointed, the grounds were incredibly marshy and wet, it's almost like this place is sitting in the middle of a swamp. We couldn't make much use of the grass and spent a lot of the time either cooped up in the house or hanging out on the porch. At night, the heat barely kept us warm, most of us spent the night shivering. Not to sound completely negative - there are plenty of great things about the space. It comfortably sleeps 10-12 people, the stereo and surround sound system was great for blasting music, the kitchen was big enough for us to cook in all weekend, and the area down by the water was a great place to build a fire, take a spin on the kayaks/canoes, and watch the stars surrounded by the beautiful mountains. It really is a great spot, it just wasn't quite what we were expecting.
