"My grandfather unexpectedly passed so we headed to Louisiana. The hotels in Hammond from my experience, the ones that accept dogs that is, aren’t nice at all. "Stopped here while passing through. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Room was comfortable and clean. They even placed a box of snacks and a couple drinks in the room which was a really nice touch. Parking was safe and convenient. No breakfast items but they did have fresh brewed coffee in the lobby in the morning. There was a pretty nice pool outside. Would’ve been nice to jump in but not the right weather for us. "
