The Regent Hotel is in a great location.
The breakfast buffet is 6 stars of 5 stars. Lots of variety - American, Chinese, Japanese, etc. The room was very clean and close to train station and shops. I highly recommend this hotel.

This was a nice hotel in Taipei. It's only a few minutes walk from Ximending and the MRT. The breakfast was very nice, but I preferred walking to Ximending and ordering breakfast from the local street vendors. The room I stayed in was neat and clean. Most importantly, the air conditioning worked great! The staff was always friendly and the front desk clerk gave us several suggestions to great local places to eat. When I come to Taipei again, this property will be on the top of my list to stay.
