Top Thunder Mountain Indian Monument Hotel Reviews
Holiday Inn Express Winnemucca by IHG
6/10 Okay
"Although the mattress was very comfy and the shower head put out a really good amount of water our room needed a more thorough cleaning and repairs: The couch cushions had several dirty areas. We used towels (spread them over the grime)to sit on. At the head of the bed on the floor there was garbage , crumbs and dust. Obviously not cleaned for awhile. The spring hinge on the entrance door was broken so that it would not close automatically as they normally do. There were broken tiles on the bathroom floor. The base of the toilet was dirty as well as the floor. Bathroom door was water damaged and needed painting. This hotel is not being maintained."
"If you want to stay in an unclean hotel with rude customer service, this is the hotel for you. Avoid this hotel. The rooms are filthy, moldy, and infested with bedbugs. Also, the room was dust central, and under the bed was filthy with dirt and forgotten about by the cleaner. The absolute worst part was the staff's reaction. When I complained to the front desk, the receptionist and the head of housekeeping laughed at the situation and called it ridiculous. Both employees were incredibly disrespectful and refused to take a serious health hazard seriously. They offered zero apology. They clearly do not care about the health or satisfaction of their guests. Save your money and stay elsewhere."
"Just went on a 10 Day Rd. trip and stayed in a different town with a different motel each night, mostly name brand motels. This motel was the cleanest of them all. It was if no one had ever stayed in the room before."
"We reserved a room with a King size bed 10 days in advance. We were given a double size bed with no excuse why. First, our hostess tried to convince us it was really a king, then she claimed someone must have switched mattress without telling anyone. Just lies and no apologies'. Not going back."
"Hotel needs to be upgraded, paint coming off of walls in the room, carpet are nasty and need to be replaced with wooden floor. The staff was real nice and helpful."
