"We stayed at Waterland Farm as a family of 9 (plus 1 dog) for a long weekend break and it was brilliant. The house is very spacious with lots of facilities, including a toy room for the kids, a PS /x-box and old-school vinyl record player. The outdoor area is massive and the kids loved the football goal and playground. As it states the field isn’t secure for a dog as there are open areas but she still enjoyed a run around. "Most enjoyable stay, the room we had was spacious and beautifully decorated with a view of the river, and the bed was the softest we had ever slept in! Staff were really lovely and helpful, and made us feel very welcome from the beginning of our stay. Breakfast was especially good but the main menu was somewhat limited although of high quality, There was a small car park on site, and plenty of on-road parking although this was very busy during the day. However there was a large quay-side carpark opposite the hotel so there were no problems with parking. Will definitely return and cannot recommend them highly enough."
